The scene in Typhoon Family episode 3 reflects how desperate and uncertain things have become for everyone at Typhoon Trading. As the economic situation worsens and more companies shut down, selling those textiles becomes almost impossible.
While the staff starts losing hope, Mi-seon comes up with an unconventional idea: instead of trying to sell the unsellable, why not return the fabrics to the supplier? Even though they’ll have to pay a 30% return fee, it could still lead to some profit.
It’s risky but practical, and to everyone’s surprise, the plan works. They receive a positive response, giving the team a brief moment of relief.
