LEGO Masters Season 5 finale aired on July 28, 2025. The episode featured a finale challenge between the finalists. As the teams were busy with their final build, their family members paid a surprise visit. Finale participants were: Ben and Michael, Anthony and Joe, and Ian and Sage.
One of the teams, Ian and Sage, who later won the show, had their family was also there. It included their mom, Denise, and two brothers, Coleson and Corey.
When show host Will Arnett asked Denise about Ian and Sage being in the finale, she said:

The LEGO Masters Season 5 finale saw an exciting challenge. Before it was completed, the finalist teams received a surprise. It was their family members' arrival in the studio. Anthony and Joe confessed how much they had missed their families.
The first ones were Sage and Ian's family members, including their mom, Denise. Their brothers also arrived with her. Will asked her about the two being on the show's finale.
"Denise, how does it feel seeing them here in the finale of LEGO Masters knowing that you're the one that got them into LEGO?"
Denise recalled that since their childhood, they used to play with LEGO, and now that they were on the show's finale, it was "unbelievable." Will also asked Ben and Michael's parents how proud they were of their sons.
"Oh my gosh, I'm just so happy for them," said their dad, Tom.
Their mom, Kristen, mentioned that their hearts were overflowing with gratitude. Their parents shared that their hearts were overflowing and that they were proud.
"They're able to be here and share this experience together," she said.
Further, Anthony introduced his wife Emily and sons Joshua and Jonathan. Will joked with Anthony's younger son that he lived there on the LEGO set and that he never leaves the studio.
The next participant was Joe, holding his infant daughter. His family members featured on the show were his wife, Shaun, son James, and daughter Diana.
"This is a perfect moment," confessed Joe.
After the finalists met their loved ones, the show host announced it was time to resume the challenge.
Further on, LEGO Masters Season 5 finale, fans saw Sage and Ian winning the show. The two took home the iconic trophy and the legendary title.
