Yes, Chef! dropped out its latest sixth episode on June 2, 2025, and the episode saw two eliminations and two contestants who were given a chance to pave their way back onto the competition.

Martha, who felt like the kitchen was feeling too empty, decided to bring all the eliminated chefs from the season back and give them a chance to redeem themselves.

Two of them could come back and claim their position back. However, this meant that two of the existing chefs had to leave and would be replaced. Competing for your position against chefs vying to be in your place is truly a challenging task, and the Yes, Chef! contestants, lost, however.

The challenge gave the chefs a creative opportunity to showcase their talent and create whatever flavor they would like. It could be savory or sweet, depending on their wish.

Martha and José would then set up a blind taste test. The eliminated chefs will be ranked separately, while the existing ones will be in a different queue. Explaining, Martha said,

"The top two eliminated chefs will choose which of the bottom current chefs they want to face in the cookoff. If the eliminated chef wins, they will take their opponent’s place in the competition."

By the end of the episode, fans saw that Chris Morales was on the chopping block. He had to fight hard to save his place and prepared a grilled steak with grilled vegetable risotto and red pepper coulis. However, it was not up to the mark. Judge José said,

"He cooked a beautiful piece of meat, but the risotto falls a little bit short."
"Underdone," remarked Martha.

Did Chris Morales make it on Yes, Chef!?

No, Chris Morales was sent home and was replaced by a previously eliminated contestant on Yes, Chef!. Along with him, Ronny Miranda was also sent home. The contestants taking their spots were beloved Julia Chebotar and Petrina Peart.

Julia and Petrina were the top two among the eliminated team, while Chris and Ronny were the bottom two. Julia picked Ronny to be her competitor. Gucen the fact that this is his third cook-off to save his seat on the show, Ronny said,

"It almost feels like this is where I live now, competing in every cookoff to save my own hide."

Their challenge was simple. Each of them was required to use one fire technique: grill, flambé, or torch. Julia decided to make Crepe Suzette with Orange Liquor and Blood Orange.

This surprised the Yes, Chef! judges, especially Martha, who was doubtful of Julia's crepe. However, upon tasting, she was sold and claimed they were delicious.

As for Ronny, the flavors of his pan-seared ribeye with salsa macha and cauliflower puree did not go well with each other, and thus, he was sent home.

For Chris on Yes, Chef!, who already had a challenge with 30 minutes to work with steak, decided to add to it by making a risotto. Everyone from the benches advised against it, but he didn't listen and ended up with an underdone steak, which led to his elimination.

Yes, Chef! drops new episodes weekly on Mondays at 10:00 pm Eastern Time on NBC. These installments are later available to watch on Peacock the next day.
