Wednesday Season 2 has broken yet another viewership record on Netflix. Following the release of both parts, the season has officially entered the list of the 10 most-watched English-language series in Netflix history.
The season now sits at number 10 in the list, beating the likes of Stranger Things Season 3. However, it is still far behind Wednesday Season 1, which is at the top of the list. When the first season debuted in 2022, it shattered all streaming records and is still the most-watched English series on Netflix.
Wednesday Season 2 had been split into two parts of four epsiodes each. The first part came out on August 6, 2025, while the second part was released on September 3, 2025. The show has achieved the viewership feat within two weeks of the second part’s release.
Wednesday Season 2 becomes the 10th most-watched English-language series on Netflix
At the time of writing, Wednesday Season 2 has already received more than 95 million views worldwide. As per Netflix, over 742 million hours of the show have been watched by the audience. This has made the season the 10th-highest-viewed English-language series on Netflix.
The streaming platform makes these lists based on how many times a show has been viewed within 91 days of all of the episodes’ release. Since the finale episodes of the supernatural mystery comedy's second season were dropped on September 3, 2025, the show still has around 75 days to rise through the viewership chart.
Meanwhile, Wednesday Season 1 continues to be the number 1 show on the platform. The series earned a whopping 252 million views within the 91-day release period. At number 2 is the limited series Adolescence, with over 142 million views. The British drama recently made waves at the Emmy Awards.
Stranger Things Season 4, DAHMER: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, and Bridgerton Season 1 round up the top 5 list. The rest of the shows in the top 10 chart are The Queen's Gambit, Bridgerton Season 3, The Night Agent Season 1, and Fool Me Once.
