Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 premiered on Netflix on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 will be released on September 3, 2025. While Part 1 features prominent cast members, fans expecting to see Lady Gaga were disappointed because the singer did not appear in the first part of Season 2.

However, since Lady Gaga’s involvement with Wednesday Season 2 is confirmed, Netflix announced that she will be appearing in the second part of the season. The official description of her character, as mentioned by Netflix, reads,

“Mysterious and enigmatic, Rosaline Rotwood is a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.”

Previously, various other A-list Hollywood actors have played the roles of Nevermore teachers, and Gaga’s role in Wednesday Season 2 places her in the same league as them.

Lady Gaga will feature in Wednesday Season 2 Part 2

As mentioned earlier, fans will now have to wait until September 3 to see Lady Gaga as a Nevermore teacher crossing paths with Wednesday. Not many details have been revealed about her character yet, which means it is unclear whether she will be a friend or an enemy to the protagonist.

Gaga’s involvement in the series was confirmed on May 31, 2025, when she performed at Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event. Since she is a singer, Gaga’s presence is likely to have a significant impact on the music of Wednesday. It has been reported that she will release a new song, titled "Dead Dance," for the series, which will debut around that time.

Gaga’s song will feature a music video directed by Tim Burton, as The Hollywood Reporter confirmed. Speaking about his experience with the video, Burton told THR,

“I’ve never done television, so it was the idea of exploring something on a longer time frame, and she’s an interesting character.”

He further added,

“As much as a middle-aged man could feel like a teenage Wednesday Addams, I feel those things. And she’s a character that’s all about being subtle because she doesn’t really have a huge range of emotions.”

The video reportedly was shot in Mexico, and it will be interesting to see how it explores Gaga’s character. Although she announced her involvement with the show through a performance, Gaga has not appeared in promotional materials, and it remains to be seen whether she will do anything to promote her role before part 2 drops. Wednesday can be streamed on Netflix.
