In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Noah B. Taylor, who plays Bruno in Wednesday Season 2, opened up about his character's feelings for Enid, played by Emma Myers. Noah thinks that Bruno genuinely cares about Enid, mentioning a few scenes like the clock tower one and the knives, reflecting that the connection is real.

"I was interpreting it from a place that he did genuinely care about her. I think we see that in moments, especially in the clock tower scene and the knives that he does really connect with her," said Noah in the interview.

He also said how his character has added a new angle to the nevermore craziness, and in the case of Enid, he does end up feeling devastated, as knowingly or unknowingly, he has "messed up".

As mentioned, Noah Taylor thinks that his character does care about Enid's feelings in Wednesday Season 2. However, he doesn't remain completely honest and ends up hurting Enid by not being upfront about the truth of his life.

"I was approaching it from the standpoint that he was trying to play it like he was too scared to hurt anybody. He should have been honest and hurt somebody a little bit to avoid hurting everybody a lot."

The ultimate line is that Bruno was cheating on Enid as he had another girlfriend back at home. Enid fully ends her relationship with Bruno when his secret girlfriend arrives at the Nevermore gala event, while Bruno confesses how he and Sophia took a break before he came to Nevermore and met Enid. Whether Bruno will go back to his older girlfriend or try to mend things up with Enid remains to be seen.

On this, Noah shed some light that his character might want to win Enid's trust back and keep fighting for her.

"I’m not sure. I could see it going a couple of ways. I was really trying to go for a feeling of devastation in that scene, or I’m mainly shocked, but then also like, “Oh my God, I’ve really, really messed up this time.” I think he would try to weasel back in there a little bit, to keep fighting for her. I think that could be interesting."

Wednesday season 2 ending showcases Enid transforming into a werewolf despite knowing she won't be able to turn back into a human. She runs towards the north, leaving her fate unresolved.

This leaves us with some speculations about the narrative for season 3. Enid would struggle to regain her human form, while her and Wednesday's friendship would be tested. If she does get her human form, Bruno might re-enter her life, or some new twist might be waiting for the fans.

Wednesday Season 2 finale dropped on September 3, 2025.
