He was cast as Randall in Only Murders in the Building Season 5 in 2025, and was introduced in the very first episode of the season as the new doorman of Arconia after Lester’s death. Oliver then tried to help him settle into his job in his endeavor to prove that he is not a narcissist.

Fowler talked about what inspired him to take up acting as a profession in a recent interview with Sunshine State Cineplex. He revealed that when he watched the 2005 film King Kong, he fell in love with acting and decided to pursue it as a career:

“When my dad kicked me out of the house when I was 18, I went to the movie theaters to see Peter Jackson’s King Kong. I was like, well, maybe in those three hours I can figure out my life. I went to the movie theater with a hamper full of clothes to watch this movie, and then that’s when I realized, Man, I want to be an actor. I think this is my church. This is my sanctuary. This is where I’m supposed to be.”

Apart from Fowler, Only Murders in the Building Season 5 stars Steve Martin as Charles-Haden Savage, Selena Gomez as Mabel Mora, Martin Short as Oliver Putnam, Michael Cyril Creighton as Howard Morris, Jackie Hoffman as Uma Heller, Bobby Cannavale as Nicky Caccimelio, and Beanie Feldstein as Althea.
