During the “Summer 16,” Tipper is happy to welcome her family back to the island. She and Harris start a fun sandcastle contest to bring the family closer.

Tipper is aware that her family is going through a hard time despite their riches and seemingly happy lives. Her daughter Penny is going through a messy divorce and is out of money. Tipper secretly helps her by selling a valuable family treasure to pay for her legal fees. She hides this by buying a Father’s Day painting for Harris, so he won’t know what’s really going on.

Tipper also becomes the judge of a gift competition between her three daughters and promises her black pearl necklace to the winner. At the same time, she prepares the Father’s Day feast. However, while everything looks perfect, Tipper notices that her granddaughter Cadence seems sad. She gently tells Cadence to keep her chin up and not show her feelings.

That night, Tipper sits by the fire with her daughters. Later, when Penny tries to wake her, she realizes her mother has quietly passed away in her sleep. Her death shocks the whole family and leaves them heartbroken. Tipper’s story shows that she was the heart of the Sinclair family. She was loving, strong, and always tried to take care of others.
