Ever since its debut, Wednesday Season 2 has carved a special place in the hearts of fans who love gothic mystery wrapped in sharp humor. The Netflix hit, brought to life under Tim Burton’s creative eye, follows Wednesday Addams as she navigates the world of Nevermore Academy.
From werewolves to sirens and psychics, the show keeps expanding its supernatural universe in unexpected ways. Now, Season 2 has raised the stakes yet again, introducing new faces and abilities that keep viewers guessing.
Of all these new additions, the idea of the Vanishers is the most interesting: to completely disappear from sight. It is a rare power, massively interesting, and quite dangerous, and it plays a unique part in unfolding the mysteries in Wednesday Season 2 Part 1.
While most of the spotlight has been on Wednesday’s own investigations, the Vanishers are quietly stealing attention, too, with one in particular already making her presence impossible to ignore.
Who are the Vanishers in Wednesday Season 2?
At Nevermore Academy, there are many types of Outcasts, and Wednesday Season 2 brings in an entirely new faction that no one expected: the Vanishers. They have the ability to simply vanish when they need to.
In fact, the first season didn't highlight the Vanishers, but in this newly dropped chapter, the Outcasts have started to take center stage, especially Wednesday's stalker, who has turned out to be a Vanisher herself. The role is played by young actress Evie Templeton, who explains:
"Now for the ones you never see coming, the Vanishers. They stay out of sight, but never out of the loop."
The actress continues:
"If there's tea at Nevermore, the Vanishers got the first sip."
This means that a Vanisher could be right next to you at times when it seems like nobody is around. The irony is that they are good at hiding themselves, yet so little can actually be hidden from them.
The Vanishers in Wednesday Season 2: Agnes and her impact

Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 kicked off with Wednesday and every Outcast at Nevermore ready for the sophomore year. Following the past events, everyone is now expecting to enjoy the school time and face fewer challenges.
But wherever Wednesday goes, mayhem is never far behind. This time, she not only solves the mystery of LOIS, but also finds out that her stalker is none other than a 13-year-old Vanisher, Agnes Demille.
For Wednesday, she is a "crazed stalker", but Agnes introduces herself as the superfan. So, to grab her idol's attention, Agnes decides to use her powers. She challenged Wednesday at the Borne Fire event, almost killed Enid and Bruno, and even stole Enid's line "WWWD."
Not only this, Agnes was even present inside Enid and Wednesday's room when Bruno and Enid were passionately kissing each other. However, she succeeded in he plan to get Wednesday's attention and then joined her in the investigation.
It was Wednesday who asked Agnes to take part in her mission in Season 2, Part 1. Although Enid dislikes the Vanisher, Wednesday needs Agnes to save her best friend.
