Why is Ace conspiring to dump Amaya from the Love Island USA villa?

Ace Greene, a contestant on Love Island USA, has now become influential in the villa. This means that his "ring leader" days, as Austin would frame it, are at their peak, especially after the most recent eliminations on the show.

In a previous episode, it was seen that America was asked to vote for their favorite islanders on the Love Island USA villa. When they gathered around the pit, the bottom three of this list were up on the chopping block and would be sent packing back home.

This was when three men and three women stood before the safe, and the islanders asked to sit. Now, the text message reads that the girls will decide which one of the girls to dump, and the boys will decide which one of their friends they will dump.

Up for elimination were Austin, Pepe, and Jeremiah, and among the girls were Amaya, Iris, and Hannah. As Chelley stood up to announce their decision for the one they would dump, it was revealed that the girls had chosen Hannah. After that, Taylor stood up and announced that the men had chosen Jeremiah to be dumped.

It was a brutal elimination, and the fans were furious over Ace and claimed that this was nothing but his little shenanigans in order to do a power play in the villa.

But now, fans are even more furious. Why, you ask? It is because he is trying to justify to everyone in the main villa, claiming that Amaya should be the one to be eliminated among the girls and not Hannah.

Love Island USA Season 7 - Why is Ace against Amaya?

Amaya and Ace formed a connection during the very first recoupling ceremony of Love Island USA season 7. It was when Hannah and Amaya had entered the villa as bombshells and were getting to know each other.

Ace, who already had an established bond with Chelley, chose Amaya to be his partner instead. For the unversed, the first re-coupling required the men to select their partners, and the one girl who would be left out had to go home. Belle-A was dumped in this round.

The thing is, Ace, after realising what kind of mistake he had committed, decided not to be nice to Amaya. He restricted her from calling him "babe," and then stopped giving her the same time and attention that he was giving to Chelley.

Fans were angry then too, about how he could have let down Amaya easily and on a nicer note instead of bashing her and making he feel bad about herself. But now, he has done something that fans think they will never forget him for, and make sure that he does not win Love Island USA at all.

Turns out, Amaya is loved on the internet for being a genuinely nice person to the girls and even outside, with some of her moments resurfacing. But now that Ace wants to dump Amaya from the villa, it is seen that his reasoning feels very off.

Ace claimed that Amaya should leave because he and she are two completely different people. Fans do not understand why someone should leave the Love Island USA villa just because they are different from Ace.
