You gotta admit, Red St Wild surprised us by the end of Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4

Red St. Wild definitely surprises the viewers by the end of Peacemaker season 2 episode 4 by exposing his darkest side during his journey of finding Eagly. He is someone who could be hilarious in one moment and dangerous the second.

The episode showcased ARGUS hiring a huntman to neutralize Eagly, the most loyal pet and best friend of Chris, aka Peacemaker. Along with Economos, Wild raids Chris' house. Right when Red St. Wild was lining up to shoot the bird, Economos knocks him down, giving Chris and Eagly time to escape.

Though a part of ARGUS, Economos is loyal to Chris. But Wild doesn't lose hope and shows a completely different side by the end of episode 4. He uses his forehead wound to draw a bird-like figure from the blood to trace Eagly through some supernatural technique. This reveals a darker edge of a hilarious and flamboyant character we were looking at till now.

How does Red St. Wild surprise us by the end of Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4?

James Gunn, the creator of the show, has rightly shown Red St. Wild's character first as a comic relief and then peeling the layers to show him as dangerous and evil, posing against the protagonist.

Wild was introduced as the "world's foremost eagle hunter" hired by ARGUS to neutralise Eagly. He emerges as someone who is obsessed with Eagles and has a stylish sense and theatrical swagger. He boasts about his skills with one-liners so that he seems like someone who blabbers and overpromises, almost making it comic.

But beneath the comedy, it is immediately clear he is a threat to Eagly, which raises the stakes for Economos and Peacemaker.

By the end of Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 4, Red St. Wild uses a supernatural or mystical technique to locate Eagly. He draws a shape of the bird or eagle with his blood, performing a ritual. He then dances around a bonfire to further invoke a supernatural vision to find Eagly.

With this power attained, he can fly in his mind and envision Eagly's location. He discovers Eagly is at the cabin in Settler's Hill. This scene exposes him as a crazy eagle hunter and a greater threat to Eagly than we imagined till now.

Episode 5 of season 2 is dropping on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The way episode 4 has ended would definitely escalate the risk and conflict in the show for Eagly and Peacemaker.

Chris gotta deal with the fallout of moving the Quantum Unfolding Chamber, Harcourt’s ambiguous loyalties, and Red St. Wild’s mystical tracking of Eagly. The new episode will push the hero to his extremes, with Harcourt deciding if she wants to work with ARGUS or side with Chris, finally.
