The remaining teams in the competition were:
- Sage and Ian,
- Ben and Michael,
- Anthony and Joe.
For the finale challenge, participants had creative freedom, which allowed them to create a design of their choice. For that, the time duration they were given was 24 hours.
While announcing the finale challenge, Jamie Berard mentioned:
"This could be really compelling. Anyone can win."
Listening to the Brickmaster, the show host Will Arnett included:
"Only one team will join the pantheon of LEGO master's grace."

Finalists Anthony and Joe went with their Ballerina creation, which was one of the highlights of the episode. Sage and Ian built their fairy-tale wizard-themed creation. It was also quite impressive. The two have been one of the strongest teams throughout the competition.
While building their design, finalists faced various issues, including accidental falls and difficulty joining desired parts with particular tools.
