What to expect on Beyond the Gates
While most of Fairmont Crest know who Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) is now and have a general idea of how she tore up Ted (then Maurice Johnson) and Nicole's (Daphnée Duplaix) anniversary party, only a few know how deep the woman has gone into destroying lives, telling lies, and manipulating people and the facts. Slowly, it’s beginning to dawn on people like Mona (Karan Kendrick) and Nicole, for example, that Leslie was just using them to achieve her goal. In Monday's episode, Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and Eva (Ambyr Michelle) discuss Leslie's manipulations. Ted and Eva have a lot to talk about if Eva comes forward and offers all of her truths. Eva knows about Laura (Destiny Love), how she really got into the hospital, how she was poisoned, and all of Leslie's identities. Will Ted and Eva be able to piece together a narrative that could lead to Leslie being arrested? This week, Detective Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) will knock on her door.

Now that the third member of the Articulettes has arrived in Fairmont Crest, we can delve deeper into the story of how the three went their separate ways. Tracy (Maria Howell) and Sharon (Bonita Brisker)) can see that Anita (Tamara Tunie) has come a long way since her days of living in Chicago and the projects of Cabrini-Green (also the site of the horror franchise Candyman: 1992) Instantly on arriving at the immaculate manion of the Duprees, Sharon asked whether she needed an engraved invitation or special booties to come into this palace, it’s very noticeable that the other two are quite jealous and annoyed at how far Anita has come, as if to say that she got there by standing on top of them and pushing them aside. In Monday's episode, Sharon confronts Anita with the painful truth of their past. With nothing held back, Sharon will tell Anita exactly how she feels, what Anita has done, and how she made her feel all those years ago. There will be no escaping for Anita; she is going to have to face the past head-on and try to make amends for it, that's if she still wishes to perform with Tracy and Sharon once the dust settles.
