Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless

Danny and Cricket's (Michael Damian and Lauralee Bell) wedding was everything you'd want in a wedding. A beautiful bride, a handsome groom, a beautiful venue, and family and friends in attendance. In a soap opera wedding, you might want there to be a little conflict. Cricket and Danny had that, too, in the form of some mums that were delivered to the bride shortly before the big event. The bouquet didn't appear to have a card, so nobody knew who they were from. However, once it was revealed that Cricket had an allergy to mums, a main flower in the bouquet, she immediately suspected that Phyllis had sent them! Everything turned out okay. The bride tossed this bouquet immediately, and her bestie, Nina (Tricia Cast), ran a hot shower so that the effects wouldn't mar the blessed event. All was well, fortunately. Not only did Phyllis not send the bothersome posies (gee, Phyllis, why did Chris and Lauren and everyone who has ever watched The Young and the Restless think that you had?), but Cricket didn't have contact with them long enough to feel any ill effects. In a very touching moment, Chris received another bouquet. This one didn't contain any mums, but they still brought a tear to her eye. They were sent by the bride's ex-husband, Paul (Doug Davidson), who would surely know that his ex was allergic to mums, and he is only wishing her the best as she embarks on a chapter without him.
