The Young and the Restless Phyllis might show up at Danny and Cricket's wedding

The Young and the Restless characters Cricket and Danny are finally getting to right a wrong done to them decades about by Phyllis. The brazen redhead lied to Danny that she'd slept with him and he'd fathered her son, Daniel. Is Phyllis going to take another stab at ruining Cricket and Danny's lives by showing up at their wedding?

The Young and the Restless, Phyllis won't stop

"You ready for Danny and Cricket’s wedding??? I am!! I’m not sure Phyllis is tho…" teased Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) in an Instagram post.

Cricket (Lauralee Bell) asked Daniel (Michael Graziadei) earlier this year if he could keep his mother, Phyllis, from disrupting her wedding to Danny (Michael Damian). But can Daniel do that? Phyllis already interrupted Daniel and Cricket's respective bachelor and bachelorette parties by showing up and making a scene.

Phyllis tearfully apologized to Danny afterwards, but the damage had been done. It's almost as if Phyllis hates Christine (AKA Cricket) more than she loves Danny. She may have loved Danny at one time, but that's in the past. However, the two continue to co-parent their adult son. (Even though Danny isn't Daniel's biological pop, he raised him as his own.)

Phyllis was so determined at one point to get rid of Christine so that she could never come back into Danny's life, she rented a car and mowed down Christine and Paul (Doug Davidson) the night before their wedding.

Paul became impotent as a result and postponed the wedding, but eventually, he and Chris tied the knot. They split, only to get married again after the death of their beloved pal, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). Chris and Paul split again. Later, Christine reconnected with Danny.

They went on tour together and even visited their friends, the Forresters, on The Bold and the Beautiful. Earlier this year, Danny proposed to Cricket again at Society. She joyfully accepted, and the couple began planning their big day.

Fans were invited to choose which gown the bride would wear to add to the wedding's interactive experience. The wedding would not be complete without the presence of Cricket's best pal, Nina (Tricia Cast), and Danny's sister, Gina (Patty Weaver).
