Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is a savvy woman. She knows what she needs to do to get the job done. This could be why she's reaching out to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), her husband, Victor's (Eric Braeden), attorney.

Michael has been Victor's "fixer" in the past, taking on assignments that have gotten him in trouble. Michael's loyalty to Victor has caused problems in his marriage to Lauren (Tracey Bregman). If Michael steps in to help the Newmans, will Lauren become concerned?

Lily (Christel Khalil) has gone on a rollercoaster of emotions with her ex-husband, Cane (Billy Flynn). When they were reunited in France last year at Aristotle Dumas's big gala, she wanted nothing to do with them. Over time, Lily warmed to her ex. Then, she was taken aback a bit over Cane's relationship with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).

Lily has defended Cane to Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). She also had Cane be her guest at the Abbott Communications launch party. Cane has every reason to think that Lily might be coming around to being friends again with him. On Wednesday's show, watch Lily to send Cane some mixed messages. How will he react?

A little ditty about Jack and Diane...and Nikki

Diane (Susan Walters) and Jack (Peter Bergman) have one of the most solid marriages in Genoa City. However, this doesn't mean that Diane isn't made of stone. She's been cautious about Jack's relationship with Nikki. Why does Jack so easily trust his ex-wife, the woman who's married to the man who wants to bring the Abbott family to its knees?

On Wednesday's show, watch for Diane to lose patience over Jack's loyalty to Nikki. It'd be one thing if Nikki were actually going to come through and help the Abbotts. However, Diane may not have a reason to believe that's going to happen.
