Christine Blair has only one wish for her wedding on The Young and the Restless. She's told her soon-to-be stepson, Daniel, to please help keep his mother, Phyllis, from the ceremony. It doesn't take a fortune teller to predict that Phyllis is going to want to cause a scene!
The Young and the Restless, I object!

Chris (Lauralee Bell) objects to any objection Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) might make at her wedding to Danny (Michael Damian). Even if Daniel (Michael Graziadei) uses his influence over his mom, we can see Phyllis showing up anyway. Here are three things that Phyllis might end up doing to stop Chris and Danny from retying the knot!
The fast and the furious

Phyllis is smart enough to stick with what works. Chris was headed to the altar with Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) once, and Phyllis mowed the couple down with a rental car. She didn't end up killing them, but the engaged duo checked into the hospital instead of the honeymoon suite.
A case for Paul Williams

Phyllis could kill two birds with one stone if she were to hop back over to Europe to visit Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). Lying comes easily to Phyllis, so she could simply tell the private eye that Chris wants him back. If Paul believed her, he could come back to interrupt the wedding himself. If Chris needs time to think about Paul's gesture, Danny might turn to Phyllis for comfort. Come on! This move has Phyllis written all over it!
Paging Michael Baldwin

To our knowledge, Danny never married again after he and Phyllis split. She, however, has been married to both Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) in the intervening years. However, what if those other unions were never valid because Phyllis and Danny's original divorce had never been finalized? Oops. Sometimes legal papers aren't filed. Or signed. Or whatever.
Imagine Phyllis walking into the venue that's holding the service for Chris and Danny. An usher asks her, "Do you want to sit on the bride's side or the groom's?" We can hear Phyllis now. "Do I look like I'm friends with the bride?" Phyllis would rhetorically ask.
Chris is a lawyer, so she'd likely want to examine Phyllis's documents that she'd claim still tie to her Danny legally. Phyllis may have buried her past with Sharon (Sharon Case), at least for now. But she still has venom towards Christine. She vowed she'd be back before she took off for Nice earlier this summer.
Now that Phyllis is back in town, she could find a way to ruin what's supposed to be the happiest day of Chris and Danny's lives!
