Wedding Bells? Lauralee Bell teases possible spoiler on The Young and the Restless

Lauralee Bell, who plays Christine on The Young and the Restless, is teasing that today's episode, which features a talk between Daniel and Danny, may have something to do with her character. The actress is revealing what she'd like to see Christine doing.

"To be a fly on the wall when Danny talks to Daniel...Wednesday's show," Bell posted on her Instagram stories. As viewers who are watching the show today can see, Danny is taking an active role in his son's life by asking him what's going on with him. Danny knows his son has been having a hard time since the death of his partner, Heather (Vail Bloom).

Y&R veteran viewers know full well that Danny has never let the fact that he's not Daniel's biological dad affect his love for his son. Danny is apologizing for not being there for Daniel while he was on tour, but we learn that he kept up with his namesake through phone calls and video sessions.

Daniel lets his dad know that Phyllis has been there, too. But both men know that that can be a double-edged sword, given how passionate Phyllis can be! The two men are finding common ground with music. Daniel is now following in his dad's footsteps by diving into the music world through his guitar lessons with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).

Danny isn't just lending a sympathetic ear to his son — he also wants to know how Daniel would feel if Danny were to ask Christine to remarry him! Longtime viewers recall that Danny split up with Christine via overnight letter (this was before texting, kids) because he believed he'd fathered Daniel with Phyllis.

Years later, it was revealed that Danny wasn't Daniel's biological dad — and that he and Phyllis hadn't even been intimate. Phyllis, a groupie of Danny's, drugged the rock star and lied to Danny that he was Daniel's father after making him think that they'd slept together.

Danny got custody of Daniel in court and extricated himself from his marriage to Phyllis. The only thing that didn't tie the story up in a bow was Danny and Christine getting back together. By this time, she had moved on and married Paul Williams (Doug Davidson).

Now, it's possible that the stars have aligned and star-crossed lovers Danny and Christine may be getting back together. Phyllis warned the two before she left for Europe not to get too comfortable and that she'd be back — it's possible the path back to the altar for Chris and Danny won't be a smooth one. Stay tuned!
