Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:

What happened on The Young and the Restless

It's déjà vu for Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) on The Young and the Restless. We haven't even met the new Noah (Lucas Adams) yet, but his life appears to be in grave danger following a car accident in Los Angeles. Veteran Y&R fans recall when Cassie (Camryn Grimes) died, following injuries she received in a car wreck (the lovestruck teen tried driving a drunk Daniel home from a party, but lost control of the car and crashed it). Now, it's Noah whose life is in jeopardy. Poor Sharon was initially alone in Los Angeles, unable to lean on anyone for support. Fortunately, Nick arrived and was able to comfort his understandably hysterical ex-wife. We really doubt that Y&R is going to bump off legacy character Noah, who is continuing the Newman legacy. Would the show really recast him just to bump him off? It's not likely. Hmm...then, again, Chance (Conner Floyd) was tied to the Chancellor family, and he died. But we suspect that Noah is going to make it. Nick and Sharon walked into their son's recovery room and saw that he was all bandaged up, and he needed a tube to help him breathe. Here's hoping Noah makes a fast soap opera recovery so that he can be integrated into the show's storyline!
