This week on The Young and the Restless, Cane and Lily created a stir when they attended the Abbott Communications launch party together. As Sally delivered a passionate speech pledging her company’s commitment to transparency and decency, Adam followed Victor’s orders to use Newman Media to attack Jack by revealing that Jabot was self-imploding. A blindsided Chelsea was livid that Victor and Adam had published the story without consulting her. Jack blasted Adam and Chelsea for stabbing him in the back. Jack rejected Adam’s offer of an interview to tell Jabot’s side of the story and pledged to burn Jabot to the ground rather than let Victor destroy it. Chelsea considered leaving Newman Media. Daniel became suspicious of Phyllis’ interest in Jabot. Phyllis confronted Daniel about kissing Tessa, but he insisted it was meaningless. Tessa alluded to having bad news about Mariah. Billy told Phyllis to name her price in exchange for stealing the AI program back from Victor. After Phyllis realized Victor wasn’t going to honor their deal, she agreed to retrieve the software if the Abbotts handed Marchetti over to Summer. Diane appealed to Michael to help prove that Victor had broken the law by stealing the software and using it to attack other companies, and Michael agreed to see what he could do. Kyle confirmed to Claire that Victor was behind Jabot’s woes, but she continued to defend her grandfather. Claire felt guilty that Victor and Jack’s feud escalated because Claire and Jordan had forced Nikki to lose her sobriety. Nikki threatened to leave Victor unless he called off his war with Jack and handed the AI program over to her to destroy. Victor bellowed at Nikki to leave if she wanted out. Audra basked in the downfall of Kyle’s family company, but Sally sensed that Audra was still interested in Kyle. Audra guessed that Jill was Sally’s secret investor. Sally suggested that she and Audra meet with Jill to try to convince her to hire Audra. Matt ordered Annie to “take care of” Sienna. After Noah and Sienna ditched their security detail, Annie knocked Noah out and took Sienna hostage at gunpoint.
