This week on The Young and the Restless, Lily defended Cane to Adam and Chelsea. Lily later left a voicemail for Cane, admitting her conflicting feelings and asking for time. Meanwhile, Cane admitted his attraction to Phyllis, and they had sex. Phyllis caught Cane unsuccessfully trying to log into her laptop when he thought she was waiting for him in the shower. Lily was stunned to see Phyllis and Cane descending the stairs together at the Athletic Club. Cane privately told Lily it wasn’t what she thought, but she declined his breakfast invitation. Phyllis confronted Cane about the distrust in their relationship, but he denied sleeping with her just to gain access to her computer. Sienna and Noah found themselves locked in a windowless room. Sienna confirmed that Mitch appeared to be Matt Clark, although her husband had never been violent with her. Nick met with Detective Burrow and his partner, Annie, about Noah’s disappearance. Burrow revealed that he’d been posing as a dirty cop, while Annie had been working undercover as a Shadow Room patron to expose drug trafficking operations at the club. Sharon started to exit her hotel room when the fire alarm went off, but she found Mitch at her door. Mitch forced Sharon to call Nick and insisted on talking to them together about how to save Noah. Adam learned Jill funded Abbott Communications, and he and Victor plotted to use the information to sabotage the company’s launch. Nikki promised Jack she’d do what she could to prevent Victor from harming Jabot. Claire told Holden she wasn’t ready for a serious relationship. Holden intervened when Audra and Claire nearly exchanged blows. After spotting Holden and Audra together again, Claire requested a meeting with Billy and Sally to divulge information about Audra. Amy and Nina blasted Cane for his role in Chance and Damian’s deaths. Christine had an allergic reaction to a flower arrangement on her wedding day and assumed Phyllis had sent it, but Nina later overheard Esther take credit for sending the blooms. Danny and Christine remarried.
