Garces, Brown Out in Possible Shakeup

Guiding Light has lost two of its young faces.
Paula Garces (
Pilar) and Ryan Brown (
Billy) have been officially let go. Though the characters have not been seen on the show in recent months, there has apparently been some hope that both would return.
A show insider states that
new head writer "Lucky" Gold decided that the characters were not integral to the show's existing or future storylines.
Garces already has a budding career in feature films. She will play Francesca in the film "Clockstoppers," due out later this year. She previously appeared in the film "Dangerous Minds" and "Hangin' With the Homeboys."
