Jessica is devastated when Viki explains the painful truth of her conception and birth. Jessica is horrified when Viki admits she willingly gave her to Mitch immediately after she was born. Seth accuses Rex of having put Jessica in danger when he told her about Natalie's marriage to Mitch. Cristian breaks up Rex and Seth's fight. Mitch overhears Cristian telling Natalie that he is going to end things with Jen once and for all. Mitch later goes to see Jen.
Nora is caught going through Daphne's files but not before she realizes Troy and Lindsay had both been at the jewelry store on the same day. Nora later confronts Troy with this information but he tries to cover before being called away. Sam tells Nora he saw Lindsay harassing Troy. A curious Nora begins to snoop through Troy's desk. Jen is incredulous when Lindsay suggests that Troy might still have feelings for her. Antonio turns to Troy for answers about having a paternity test conducted on Liz' baby.
At the Buchanan mansion, Asa and Max discuss their deal to get rid of their respective wives, Rae and Roxy. Max produces the goods first—an envelope containing Rae's divorce agreement.
At the Palace bar, Renee, sporting a languid Cabaret-style coif, continues her con on Rae. She dupes another drunken scene swilling "liquor" straight out of the bottle and tells Rae that Asa will never part with ninety percent of his holdings. At Renee's challenge, Rae agrees to consult with Gabrielle who has just returned from the ballet with Nigel. Nigel is lavishly decked out in white tie, an evening cape and top hat. He professes his admiration for the previous Mrs. Buchanan and feels Asa was wrong about her. At Rae's prompting, Gabrielle reveals that Asa left her without a cent. Renee is jubilantly victorious in her prediction of Gabrielle's response. As Renee and Rae continue their acerbic banter about Asa barside, Gabrielle confides to Nigel that she wishes Bo's life didn't always have to be filled with police emergencies. Nigel appreciates that Gabrielle has true feelings for Bo. Hank happens by on both conversations and learns that Rae is "willing to give up on [her] marriage." With romance in his eyes, Hank tells Rae he's "interested to see how that plays out."
Rex stops by the Millhouse looking for Jessica, but Roxy is preoccupied with her latest conquest: Asa Buchanan has the "hots" for her. Drinking from a leopard-covered, ostrich-trimmed martini shaker, she shares her plan to use Asa's "affections" to make Max jealous and want her. Rex points out the stupidity of her plan: Asa's rich! He encourages her to "hop on that gravy train!" Roxy knows her son is imagining himself a big trust fund, but Rex feigns love and concern for his mom. Wishing her the best, he leaves to continue searching for Jessica. The phone rings and it's Asa amorously calling Roxy his "Buttercup." He extends an invitation to share Christmas together in New York, complete with a whopping shopping spree for Roxy. Listening from Asa's speakerphone at his mansion, Max and Asa clink glasses in triumph as Roxy agrees and hangs up.
Max returns home and Roxy hands him his present, telling him not to worry—he doesn't have to "regurgitate." Roxy's bags are packed and she's out the door. But a moment after her departure, Max plucks a slick zoom-lens camera out of the desk drawer and follows.
Rae returns home and is both surprised and delighted that Asa has accepted the divorce papers. As Asa leaves the room, she elatedly whispers, "I'm rich! I'm rich!"
Todd stops by Llanfair to see Viki and tosses in a nasty quip about Cristian moving in on the other sister. He tells them he "got by Bo's little boys in blue" because they were busy escorting a man off the property. Todd leaves because Viki isn't there and Natalie and Cristian construe that the man must have been Mitch. Despite Natalie's objections for his own safety, Cristian leaves to end things with Jen.
Jessica is horrified to learn that it was Viki who let Mitch take her as a baby and not Niki Smith. She angrily announces, "You're not my mother!" Their emotions soar as they tearfully scream back and forth. Jessica believes that her mom "blocked [her] out of [her] mind" because of the rape by Mitch Laurence. Jess has ambivalent feelings about her identity and credits Mitch with at least telling her the truth. Racing out of the gatehouse, she tells Viki she "never wants to see [her] again!" Bo arrives with the report that his officers have escorted Mitch from the grounds of Llanfair. Bo tries to comfort Viki. Todd arrives at the gatehouse and finds Viki and Bo. After he tells Viki that she looks like "death," he respects her wishes for him to leave and asks her to call him later. Bo continues to console Viki and encourages her to "be strong." Viki vows to get her daughter back.
Mitch visits Jen at her loft and reveals that Natalie and Cristian are together right now and Cristian is on his way home to break-up with her. Jen is petulant and resistant to his slimy schmooze and holds the door open for him to leave.
Cristian arrives home to Jen. The tension between the couple is palpable. He finally says it. Cristian confesses he is in love with Natalie. Jen reveals her evasion to his pending confession and confides she still loves him. She is surprisingly accepting of his love for Natalie and thanks him with an embrace for the love they did share. With tears on her cheeks, Jen amicably hands Cristian his Christmas present. He leaves and outside the door reads the card to "the daddy of our baby." Slithering out of the deeply recessed shadows of the loft, Mitch leans in close to her and quietly assures Jen that he is "glad [she] decided to play things [his] way."
Natalie lingers on the terrace at Llanfair and Jessica finds her. Jessica reveals Mitch Laurence is her father. Natalie, in disbelief, tries to console her. But Jessica describes her conversation with their mother in detail and the confirmation that it's quite true. She describes herself as being "half a monster" with a mother than didn't want her. Jessica feels like she's "nothing." Despite Natalie's reassurances that she is very loved, Jessica runs away declaring she "never wants to see any of [them] ever again!"
