The Daytime Emmy Awards are rolling around again after the 2023 ceremony was delayed due to the writers' strike.

If it feels like the Daytime Emmy ceremony just happened, that's because it did. The 50th Annual Daytime Emmys didn't take place until December 15, 2023, because the Academy chose to postpone the awards until the Writers Guild of America strike was over. Now, just three months later, the date has been set for the 2024 ceremony. So, mark your calendars for June 7.

"We eagerly anticipate our return in June as we once again partner with CBS to recognize the exceptional and talented individuals who make daytime television great," Adam Sharp, NATAS president and CEO said in a statement, according to Variety. "We're thrilled to kick off our second half-century of the Daytime Emmys."

Like last year, the ceremony will take place at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, but things will be a little different, as one category has been eliminated. In February, NATAS announced that it was cutting the Outstanding Younger Performer category. General Hospital's Eden McCoy was the last person to ever win that award.

More Emmy information is to come over the next few months, including all the nominees as well as the name of the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient (last year it was Susan Lucci). Be sure to check back with Soap Central for all your Daytime Emmy news.
