Brief Character History
Allison first appeared on the show as one of Mitch Laurence's disciples. Mitch presented himself as an Evangelist preacher, but he was actually a drug dealer and a cult leader. He was eventually killed, but before he died, he had planted a post-hypnotic suggestion in the brain of Allison Perkins, instructing her to steal Viki's baby (Jessica) and make it look as if Niki Smith was the kidnapper. Allison dressed up as Niki, snuck into Llanfair and took baby Jessica to her mother's home in New Jersey. Maria Roberts (Cord Roberts' mother) found out about Allison and, wanting to get Clint for herself, manipulated the situation so that Clint suspected Viki had once again turned into Niki and kidnapped Jessica. Viki became angry that Clint suspected her and their second marriage was finished. Allison was in a car accident which left her in a coma and was never able to tell the Buchanans about Maria's part in the kidnapping. Jessica was later returned unharmed.
Or so they thought. Allison had actually switched Jessica with the daughter of her friend Roxanne Balsom. So the Jessica they thought had gotten back was really Natalie. Allison returned nearly twenty years later with the real Jess and the truth. She faked to Dr. Rae Cummings at St. Ann's that she really wanted Viki to forgive her. When Viki did, she moved in with her plan. She was actually scheming, once Natalie got her money, to split the cash, since she actually cared nothing for Natalie.
Natalie came to her senses and dismissed Allison. Allison is currently scheming again with Roxanne Balsom to get money from Jess, by pretending Roxy has a severe illness. Jess will (hopefully) give her money for the medical bills and they will split the earnings and skip town. Tragically, Allison's schemes only resulted in Viki becoming unhinged and, as her alter Niki Smith, terrozing Allison and Roxy. In the end, Allison's plan was discovered and Ben Davidson was left in a potentially irreversible coma.
