Brief Character History
Spencer Truman is a brilliant doctor that has come to Llanview with a secret agenda. His younger brother, David is furious that Spencer has reentered his life, and wants him to leave Llanview immediately. Paige, Spencer's ex-wife, is also less than thrilled by their reunion.
Despite their concerns, Spencer plans to stay in Llanview indefinitely. He has already developed a friendship with Blair Cramer after performing an operation that saved the life of her son Jack. Spencer has also taken an interest in Blair's cousin, Kelly and the two have a shared several dates to the chagrin of Kelly's ex-husband, Kevin. David is determined to keep Spencer far away from the people he loves, but Spencer refuses to pay heed to his concerns.
