Brief Character History
Mike Corbin was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, so his family enrolled him in a day program at Turning Woods Long Term Memory Care, where he would eventually go to live once his disease advanced. At the facility, Mike met a woman named Yvonne, with whom he had an instant connection. Unfortunately, Mike was unaware that Yvonne was both in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's and married. Yvonne's husband objected to her relationship with Mike, despite the fact that his wife had no memory of being married or even of Marcus himself.
However, with the help of his ex-fiancée Stella, who was a social worker, Marcus realized that Mike made Yvonne happy. Reluctantly, he accepted the relationship. A few weeks later, Mike's disease made it necessary for Mike to live at Turning Woods full-time.
