Cameron Diaz's upcoming action comedy Bad Day adds three new actors to its cast, including Jessica Belkin, Rhenzy Feliz and Emma Pearson, as reported by Deadline.
After Diaz's comeback in Back In Action with Netflix this year, the actor is collaborating once again with the streaming platform in this film. It shall be helmed by Jake Szymanski, who has previously directed Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016), The Package (2018), and the John Bronco films (2020, 2021).
This film follows the plot of how a single mother, despite the overwhelming ordeals, strives to find a way to keep her word that she made to her daughter. It is a re-imagination of the 1993 film, Falling Down, starring Michael Douglas.

A single mother struggles to fulfill a small promise to her daughter during the most devastating day she's ever faced.

As reported by Deadline, three new actors have been brought on board the cast of Bad Day, including Rhenzy Feliz, Emma Pearson and Jessica Belkin.
They are joined by the existing cast members, including Cameron Diaz, John Higgins, Ed O’Neill and Danielle Brooks. The news about the inclusion of Higgins, O'Neill and Brooks in the cast was announced yesterday.
Rhenzy Feliz has previously worked in Marvel's Runaways (2017-2019), Kevin (Probably) Saves the World (2018), Encanto (2021), The Penguin (2024), The Mastermind (2025), etc.
Emma Pearson has starred in short films and TV series including Blue Bloods (2020), FBI: Most Wanted (2023), Hedgehog- Yizhachok (2023) and the upcoming series The Artist.
Jessica Belkin can be seen in American Horror Story (2015), Last Straw (2023), The Hunting Wives (2025) and the upcoming series of the Legally Blonde franchise, Elle.
Bad Day is penned by Laura Solon, who has previously written for films and series including Hot in Cleveland (2010-2015), Office Christmas Party (2016), Let It Snow (2019), Back to Life (2019) and The School for Good and Evil (2022), to name a few.
Apart from writing, Solon is also serving as the executive producer of the film under the banner of Good One Productions, along with Mark Moran. Beau Bauman who produced Cameron Diaz's latest release, Back In Action, is also associated with the film. Starring Jamie Foxx, the comeback film by Diaz met with immense commercial success on Netflix.
This upcoming film too, is in collaboration with the streaming platform and explores the genre of action comedy. As per the outlet, the film will go on floors this year, in the fall. It will release first on the East Coast of the United States.
