Paul Burrell, a former royal butler, supported the accusations made about Prince Harry in Vanity Fair last February.

Earlier this year, the magazine published an exposé about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which divulged details about the couple's estrangement from the Royal Family.

In a fresh interview, Paul Burrell — who served Princess Diana from 1987 to 1997 — confirmed Vanity Fair's claims that Prince Harry is "difficult" and "spoiled," saying:

“I know from firsthand experience how difficult Harry can be. I know how petulant he can be and how spoiled he is, because I’ve experienced that myself. He’s always lived in a bubble.”

The former butler also expressed his disappointment in the Duke of Sussex for decamping from his philantrophic persona and adopting a "celebrity" image.

“I always circle back to the fact that Harry’s mother taught him long ago that the price for a privileged lifestyle is public service. Harry seems to have forgotten this lesson now he lives a celebrity Hollywood lifestyle that’s totally different from his royal one.”

Former butler Grand Harrold reveals Prince Harry's bond with Prince William and Kate Middleton: "They involved him"

Paul Burrell's support for the exposé's claims comes after another former butler, Grand Harrold — who served in Highgrove between 2004 and 2011 — disavowed Prince Harry's assertions about his father, King Charles, and Camilla.

Grand Harrold, in his tell-all with the Telegraph, questioned Prince Harry's statement in his memoir, Spare, regarding his and his brother Prince William pleading with King Charles not to marry Camilla. According to Harry's account:

"We support you, we said. We endorse Camilla, we said. 'Just please don't marry her. Just be together, Pa'."

Grand Harrold also opened up about the bond between the two princes and Kate Middleton.

“They involved him."

He continued, saying that before Meghan Markle came into the picture, Kate and Prince Harry would hang out whenever Prince William was away.

“He [Harry] used to go out with Kate. William would be away, and Kate and Harry would be off doing stuff together. They’d go shopping together, they’d go to pubs together."

The former butler went on:

"I think when people say, ‘Oh, he was left out,’ he really wasn’t.”

Meanwhile, an insider claimed that Harry feels "desperately lonely" since moving to California. The anonymous source, who claimed to be one of the Duke's close friends, told an outlet News Nation:

“He doesn’t really have any real friends in the area except for [fellow polo player] Nacho [Figueras], and Nacho travels constantly for polo matches. He is still very close with the ‘band of brothers’ who were at his wedding — particularly Guy Pelley and Mark Dyer, but they live in England, and the time zones are so different it’s very hard to talk regularly.”

The source added:

“And again, there is no one for him to hang out with [in person] besides Nacho when he is in town or Meghan and the children. He spends a lot of time chilling with his bodyguards.”
