Ryan Reynolds has made headlines again by appearing on the "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend" podcast, where he briefly addressed Meghan Markle and her Montecito-based lifestyle brand, As Ever.
On the podcast, Reynolds used a humorous recollection of growing up as the youngest with three older brothers to illustrate the craziness of sibling rivalry and wrestling in the front yard. He also talked about his father and how he made the unusual leap from law enforcement to food brokerage.
Ryan Reynolds stated that he had begun working as a middleman for jars of jam and tiny yogurts. Following this, Reynolds quipped that he was working for Meghan Markle.
"He got out of coping and then became a food broker, which we're like, come on, that's CIA, right? And he's like, 'No, I really am a middleman for jars of jam and itiny yogurts.' He works for Megan Markle." The Deadpool actor said during the podcast.
The comment was reminiscent of Ryan Reynolds' previous jokes about Markle and Prince Harry. According to US Weekly, on a 2020 episode of his game show Don't, he cracked a joke about an outdated royal trivia question.
In the same year, he tweeted a dry response to a New York Times article that stated Canadians were expecting a bit more of a "razzle dazzle" from the royal couple's move to Canada.
"Nobody injects razzle dazzle anymore. Particularly in Canada, where they drink it." He wrote.
A look into Ryan Reynolds' Online Trolls with famous celebrities
Ryan Reynolds is famous for trolling on social media; he is always doing bits about his wife, Blake Lively, even creating a meme during the Super Bowl where he wrote, "Has anyone seen my wife?" as Lively was with Taylor Swift at that time.
According to Entertainment Now, when the tabloids alleged their marriage was on the rocks, he playfully responded, "I wish. I could use some 'me time.'" He has even trolled his own children when he once wrote:
"My daughter’s only 6 months old and already drawing... it’s absolute garbage."
Recently, Reynolds rescinded when Martha Stewart said that he wasn't funny in real life during an interview.
"I’d disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so." He wrote on X.
His decade-long beef with Hugh Jackman has also resulted in some funny moments, including when he mocked Jackman during the premiere of The Music Man. The duo is well known for their pretentious feud.
Ryan Reynolds even teased his wife, Blake Lively, while wishing her a happy birthday in 2016, making his tweet all about Billy Ray Cyrus. He's also mocked the people of Los Angeles by saying they are so scared of gluten that "you could rob a liquor store in this city with a bagel."
