This week on General Hospital, at Alexis’ house, Willow dropped Scout off for a family visit, with the strict stipulation from Drew that she not see Danny at all. Kristina and Molly were worried to begin with, and things got even more dicey when an unknowing Danny showed up. The Davis girls were concerned about what would happen if Drew found out about it. Ultimately, after Danny and Scout made a snowman outside, Alexis informed him that he had to leave. Later, Scout told Alexis that seeing Danny was all she wanted for Christmas. Alexis reassured her that Danny would always be there for her, but she had to keep quiet about his visit. Meanwhile at Wyndemere, Sidwell made it clear to Drew that his political usefulness determined his value, while Willow arrived and updated Drew on Scout’s visit. He blamed Alexis for Sidwell’s dissatisfaction with the Portia allegations and expressed frustration over the ongoing fallout. Jordan tried to surreptitiously get info from Sidwell to see if the district attorney was building a case against him. As Jordan noticed Sidwell’s enjoyment of the tension growing between Lucy and Ava, she suggested that the women’s rivalry could be used as leverage. Marco advised Lucas to hide his feelings in order to avoid confrontations. Unfortunately, Lucas ended up clashing with Willow. Drew soon stepped in and prevented things from getting out of hand. Sidwell later reassured Marco that Sonny was already paying for his actions through other means, but promised that once Sonny was no longer useful, he would be dealt with permanently, implying something deadly would occur. At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy met Jacinda and immediately recognized the imbalance in her relationship with Michael, bluntly warning him that he needed Jacinda more than he loved her. She also pointed out that Jacinda was falling harder than he was willing to admit, drawing from her own experiences to make the point. Jacinda later questioned Michael about Tracy’s judgment, and he attempted to reassure her. Danny confided in Cody that Drew was isolating Scout and that life had felt less lonely when they were all living together. At Café Cherie, Sonny crossed paths with ADA Turner, where they discussed Portia’s testimony and the nature of justice. Sonny acknowledged that good people sometimes make bad choices for the people they love, while Turner insisted that in a courtroom, there could be no gray areas. At Laura’s home, Kevin revealed he received an offer to teach in Dublin for six months, contingent on Laura joining him, a possibility complicated by her recent re-election and her responsibilities in Port Charles. Jordan later arrived with information about Sidwell’s romantic entanglements and the potential to exploit Lucy’s impulsive behavior. Alexis admitted that for Scout to be in their lives, she had to regain Drew’s trust. Jacinda had a hard time accepting a bracelet that Michael gave to her. Kevin chose to remain in Port Charles for the time being, although Laura countered that his being in Ireland would keep him safe from Sidwell’s machinations. Marco continued to keep his nefarious dealings from Lucas. Cody advised Danny to play nice with Drew, otherwise known as “the long game,” until the right moment hit. New Year's Eve was soon celebrated by all of Port Charles. Lulu joined Nathan during his guard duty outside her house, where they bonded over shared losses and missing years. They acknowledged the changes in their relationships while choosing to focus on gratitude rather than regret as fireworks approached. Curtis surprised Jordan at home and admitted that the trial and Portia’s actions clarified where his heart belonged, leading the two to recommit to each other and decide not to lose one another again. Cody was preparing for a romantic evening with Molly, but she had to back out because of work. He then came upon the brilliant idea of bringing the celebration to her, surprising her at the office. Meanwhile, Emma and Gio watched Outback in the stables and hung out together, discussing Gio’s return to music with the violin that Ned and Sonny gave him. Kai and Trina stayed in and had a quiet evening discussing their future. Britt sought out Jason that night, which marked both her birthday and the anniversary of her death, hoping not to spend it alone. Meanwhile, Carly joined Valentin in the attic to discuss their shared goal of bringing Jack down and protecting their children, carefully establishing boundaries regarding Charlotte and the risks involved. As fireworks lit the sky, couples across Port Charles marked the new year together. Jordan spent the night with Curtis while Molly slept over at Cody’s. Alexis planned on using Michael to raise a reasonable doubt in Willow’s case. ADA Turner reasoned that Alexis would want to pin the shooting on someone else and also wanted to know what Curtis had been doing with Selena Wu at his club on the night of the shooting. Sidwell voiced concern to Marco that Laura needed to be reminded about what she stood to lose if she went against them. Kristina saw the contents of Alexis’s folder and realized Alexis planned to pin the shooting on Michael when court resumes on General Hospital. Sonny warned Michael that he was going to be a target for both Alexis and ADA Turner. Jordan admitted to Curtis that, despite trying to prove Sidwell was a criminal, it was the best job she had ever had working for him, and she planned to enjoy it right up until the moment she took him down. Sonny told Michael that Turner would put him in a position where he would have to make Willow look bad, saying it wouldn’t be good for his kids. Ezra informed Laura that Sidwell wanted multiple helipads on Spoon Island as well as on the piers and advised her to give Sidwell what he wanted because she wouldn’t want to see what he was like if she didn’t. Turner told Dante she felt Alexis had dug her own and Willow’s graves. Alexis told Kristina that she needed to create enough reasonable doubt to get Willow exonerated. Michael insisted to Sonny that his kids needed to know the truth about Willow, arguing that he prioritized them while Willow prioritized Drew. Ezra told Laura he was going to pretend to oppose the helipads because Sidwell was too powerful. He then told her that if she gave Sidwell what he wanted, Sidwell would become the best friend she had ever had. Sidwell bumped into Charlotte and Ace outside Bobbie’s and, creepily, warned Charlotte to keep an eye on Ace because little kids could disappear in the blink of an eye. He later told Marco they should use Charlotte to get Valentin to help with their project because he would be very useful. James asked if Molly was Cody’s girlfriend now, and while Cody said yes and Molly said no, shocking each other. Turner told Dante that, ultimately, Willow’s fate would be up to the jury. Michael told Sonny that when he got on the stand, he would bury Willow. Alexis advised that telling Michael about their plan would affect their ability to see Scout. Curtis and Jordan moved toward a full reset, promising to be as open as possible about work while accepting there were things they couldn’t tell each other. Marco believed his father had threatened Ace, but Sidwell insisted he had only been sending a message to Laura, not threatening a child. Charlotte recounted Sidwell’s warning about Ace, making Laura look visibly nauseous.

General Hospital can be seen weekdays on ABC and Hulu.
