What happened on General Hospital

Emma feared Gio was leaving town, but he quickly informed her he’d be living with Sonny. Couldn’t that be dangerous, Emma wondered. Gio said he wanted to save money and get out on his own. Then, Kai and Trina showed up.
Trina asked what was going on with Emma and Gio. Emma said something changed, but not in a good way. Meanwhile, Kai and Gio tossed a medicine ball back and forth. Kai said Drew was definitely in the wrong to show up at Monica’s memorial and chuckled at the sight of Tracy wheeling Drew out of the service.
Kai corrected Trina on her weight-lifting form. Emma excused herself. Kai said Trina’s form was correct; he used that as an excuse to get away from Gio because he let slip how he truly felt about Drew. Trina said Kai had to continue to work with Drew for now.
“I don’t want you to move out,” Emma told Gio. He said he had to because of the kiss. Emma said she ruined everything. It’s her fault that she was into him. Gio said he was into her. He thought she wasn’t into him. He added it’d be torture to live with her and not be able to do this as Gio kissed Emma, and she kissed back.
Joss couldn’t believe that Britt was asking her to get her a hotel room at the Metro Court. Britt reminded Joss that she saved her life from Heather Webber (AKA The Hook). People would just assume Joss’s gesture would be one of gratitude. Joss tried to urge Britt to get to the bottom of the people who tried to kill them will try again. Britt said the Metro Court has the best security in town. Joss said it would be a very big mistake to out her as a WSB agent. Britt said that sounded like a threat. Jack Brennan appeared and said it sounded that way to him. He introduced himself to Britt.
Britt excused herself and got back to work. Jack said he’d take care of Britt after Joss updated him on Britt’s hotel blackmail plans. Later, Jack approached Britt and asked for a word. He said the WSB wanted to talk to her about her time at the Five Poppies. Jack asked her to come to his office. Britt said she was just a guest there. He asked her not to make a problem for him or his agents. “But, boy, I hope you’re telling the truth,” Jack said. He pointed out that Britt could go to jail for years at Steinmauer, a maximum security prison, which is not a pleasant place.
Carly went to see Liz to get some answers. Over tea, Carly shared with Liz that she told Anna that she’d threatened to kill Drew the night he was shot. Carly was curious to see if the police followed up with Liz. The head nurse wasn’t sure that they should be having this talk. Carly asked Liz for help. “Nobody has contacted me,” Liz said. If asked, she will say that Drew antagonized Carly and that Carly didn’t sound serious when she said she’d kill him. Liz was surprised that Carly wasn’t happy the police were zeroing in on someone else – unless that person was Michael.
Carly said Michael didn’t shoot Drew. She wasn’t surprised that Liz would take Willow’s side, as she’s living there. Liz acknowledged that Drew and Willow have both hurt Michael. Carly said she didn’t have much faith as Drew was determined to make Michael take a fall. Liz left the kitchen to take a call. Liz agreed that Carly’s issues with Willow are valid. Liz said she’s been where Willow is, and so has Carly. Then, Carly told Liz that Willow was lucky to have a friend like Liz.
Curtis theorized to Portia, who covered up her pregnancy test, that Drew lost his blackmail info on the good doctor. Curtis pointed out that the police would have questioned him and Portia if they’d found the incriminating document. He pointed out that Drew hadn’t been making any more demands.
Curtis said that he had a plan to see what Drew might still know. His plan was derailed by Dr. Gannon. Curtis said he’d never do anything to make Portia look bad. Portia said Dr. Gannon was just looking to make his boss look good.
In his hospital room, Drew used the walker to get back to bed. Willow was impressed with his progress. Drew wanted Willow and Scout to move in with her. He didn’t want to pressure Willow and noted she seemed hesitant. Drew said he upped security since the shooting. Willow said Scout was comfortable at Elizabeth’s. Drew said he missed his daughter and Willow.
Willow shared that she hadn’t been completely honest with him. She shared with Drew her fear that living with Drew would hurt her custody chances. Drew suggested they reach out to Martin. Just then, Willow got a text saying a new judge wouldn’t review her case until January.
Willow began to panic. Drew assured Willow that he’d talk to Martin and she’d get her kids back. Then, Portia and Curtis entered. Portia ordered Willow to get back to the ER. Drew wanted Portia to apologize to her. She said she called the shots around her. Curtis wondered if Drew had anything to say about that.
Drew played the blackmail card. “Then, do it!” Portia yelled at the patient. Drew said he was busy recovering and didn’t have time. He asked them to leave him alone. “We were right,” Curtis told Portia once they were outside Drew's room.
“Hold on, this is wrong,” Ronnie told Anna about the search warrant. The document read the search was for “65 Harbor View Drive,” and Monica’s house (or is that Ronnie’s now?) is at “66 Harbor View Drive.”
Jason pointed out that the warrant was invalid. Chase said it was just a technicality. Olivia offered that the devil was in the details. Chase asked Ronnie if they could search the house. Anna said they’d return with the right warrant and encouraged everyone not to do anything that would make them an accessory after the fact. Jason thanked Ronnie. She wanted to know which one of them was accused of trying to bump off a congressman.
Jason told Ronnie that he didn’t know about Drew, but that Drew knew about them. Olivia said he became Monica’s stepson retroactively. Ronnie said Monica wrote about loving Scout, but not so much Drew. Ronnie wasn’t sure why the weapon came from the mansion. Tracy didn’t want to talk about such matters in front of an outsider. Olivia noted that Ronnie just saved the house from being ransacked. Michael updated Ronnie on Drew sleeping with Willow. She said she could see him wanting to take a shot at Drew. Brook Lynn pointed out that there was a long list of suspects. Jason concurred.
In her office, Anna barked at someone to make sure that the address on the warrant was accurate. “Such a disaster!” Anna yelled. Anna wasn’t sure how D.A. Turner could make such a mistake.
Anna lamented that Jason knew better than anyone how to clean up evidence. Chase lamented not staying at the house to make sure no one went into the study. Anna said it was best for him not to get into a difficult situation with his in-laws. Anna said she knew nothing about Ronnie. Chase said he was sure he’d hear about it tonight. Chase thanked Anna for her support, but pointed out that someone needs to be brought to justice.
Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Olivia, Brook Lynn, Tracy, Ronnie, and Jason rehashed the situation. Tracy told Ronnie that she didn’t need to stay. Ronnie agreed to leave and go back to her motel, but she wanted to know how things developed. Jason stopped Ronnie from leaving when he told her that Monica had left her the house, and she didn’t have to leave.
Tracy called Ronnie a “backwater waitress.” Olivia wanted to know what Tracy had against waiters and waitresses. Jason said Ronnie was family. Tracy said that she could be anybody! Jason told Ronnie it was nice to meet Ronnie and left. Michael agreed with Jason. He said that as far as he was concerned, Monica’s will was settled. Then, he walked out.
Britt approached Willow and asked her if everything was okay, as Willow had asked Deanna to cover for her. Willow said nothing was okay. Britt reminded Willow that they were family. “If you need an ally,” Britt said to Nina’s daughter. Britt suggested she talk to her mom. Willow said she needed her lawyer. Willow told Britt that she needed to take care of her own problems based on her observing Britt and Jack.
Martin gave Drew a list of contents that the police had from his safe. Drew scanned the list and saw that his blackmail info against Portia was not on it. Drew recalled seeing the document in his safe the night he was shot. Martin said whoever took the info must be the one who shot Drew. The congressman theorized that his shooter must have been either Portia or Curtis.
Tracy looked at a photo of Monica. She told her late sister-in-law she wished that she were still there so she could wring her scrawny neck! Then, Ronnie, Olivia, and Brook Lynn returned from taking a tour of the grounds. Ronnie said everything was so big! Olivia said Monica always kept things in tiptop shape. Olivia suggested a brick pizza oven. Tracy mocked the idea of an oven as she looked at Monica’s photo. Ronnie thought it was great that Moncia had all these horses, as she had dreamed of having one as a child. “Hades is mine, and Comet belongs to my grandson, Leo,” Tracy quickly pointed out. Olivia said Leo would be excited to meet Ronnie. She said that she was having trouble keeping track of how many people lived there. “Yeah, welcome to my world,” Tracy quipped. Brook Lynn pointed out that Chase, her husband, was there before.
Carly came home to Joss, who was pretending to be upset. Joss told her mom that Vaughan had been lying to her all this time. She shared that he’s a WSB agent!
Curtis told Portia in her office that once the police arrest someone for Cane’s shooting, then she can file for divorce. Meanwhile, Drew figured out that that’s why Drew and Portia were in his room playing a game. Martin wanted to call the police to bust Drew and Portia, but Drew told Martin to stop. Not only can the police not know about the blackmail, but Michael has to take the fall for Drew’s shooting.
Anna returned with a revised search warrant. Ronnie read it and okayed the search. Anna and her team started searching. Anna asked where Jason and Michael were. Chase announced that they checked the study, and the gun was missing.
Jason and Jack met on the dock. Meanwhile, Michael showed up at Liz’s door. He was looking for Willow. He asked if he could come in. Liz said, “Yeah, sure.” Michael looked around and closed the door behind him.
