In a photo carousel shared on Instagram by the Golden State Warriors guard, one image in particular caught fans’ attention: Thompson leaning in to kiss a woman bearing Megan’s signature long hairstyle and distinctive frame. Though the photo didn’t explicitly tag the rapper, the clues quickly added up.

Earlier, Megan Thee Stallion had posted a poolside picture with a man resembling Klay Thompson visible in the background. Shortly after, Thompson shared a similar poolside snap of his own. The matching settings led followers to piece the puzzle together, and it’s looking a lot like a soft-launch turned hard-launch.

Even Klay’s father, former NBA player Mychal Thompson, seemed caught off guard by the headlines. Appearing on the Mason & Ireland show, host John Ireland teased him with:
