Lauren Pisciotta's lawyer isn’t backing down after Kanye West’s team called her client's updated lawsuit “fantasy fiction.”
On the heels of a fiery statement released by Kanye West’s camp, Lauren Pisciotta’s attorney, Lisa Bloom, responded with strong words of her own, telling Daily Mail:
“While Kanye West’s publicist has come up with a slickly worded (and outrageously false and defamatory) attack on Ms. Pisciotta, Kanye himself has publicly admitted much of what she’s claiming.”
She added:
“Kanye’s publicist is deafeningly silent on Kanye’s own admissions, which will destroy him in court. We look forward to seeing him there, where he cannot hide behind a high priced spin team.”
The latest fiery exchange comes after Kanye West’s spokesperson and Yeezy issued a fiery response to Lauren Pisciotta’s recently amended lawsuit, which adds new allegations to her original June 2024 filing against Kanye West.
Lauren Pisciotta now claims he assaulted her in a hotel room, groped her regularly, pressured her into sexual acts, and made inappropriate comments.
Kanye West has not personally responded, though his team has strongly denied all claims. A spokesperson from the Heartless singer's camp told Page Six:
“Does Ms. Pisciotta actually believe her confabulations? We cannot know. But this breathless new installment of fantasy fiction discredits all past, present and future testimony.”
Yeezy public figure Milo Yiannopoulos also weighed in, calling Lauren Pisciotta’s revisions “absurd” and describing West as:
“the one rapper who loathes violence, has never been arrested, and doesn’t even own a gun.”
Yiannopoulos also suggested that someone with Lauren Pisciotta’s alleged motives should have been more careful about who she targeted.
Fans disappointed as Kanye West’s Shanghai concert encounters delays, derailed by technical difficulties
Meanwhile, Kanye West recently held his concert in Shanghai, which left many fans disappointed.
Per reports, Ye arrived over 40 minutes late and performed with minimal stage design or lighting despite the concert being promoted as his first live show since releasing new music.
"So I’ve been a fan of Kanye West since I was a teen. MBDTF opened my ears to the sonics in music. Was hard to get tix for him in Shanghai but got it. Was hyped af. Couldn’t even sleep night before. But. Worst concert I’ve ever been to. @kanyewest u can be better,” @Fabian_Lemuel said.
"45 minute late start - Shanghai has been averaging 30-40 degrees Celsius weather recently," they added.
"It looks like Kanye West played one of his widely criticized song in Shanghai, China. And a male fan gave the N*zi salute. Remember, the CCP has a very strict censorship in order to prevent 'misleading the youth'," @dxxtiger wrote.
"The reason why the people in that stadium are so vocal, is because 99% of the people in the city of Shanghai have been raised with discipline and respect for time," @DetroitShowtyme commented.
Footage online shows a bare stage and a solo Ye, prompting attendees to chant refund and voice frustrations online, especially given ticket prices that reached nearly $375.
