Favourite night of fashion, The Met gala 2025, just came to an end but that doesn't mean the festivities are over. After the red, or this year's blue carpet parade was over your favourite designers, celebrities and all the whos who of the fashion world took over the streets of New York with a lot more subtle yet still dazzling looks during the after-party.


Met Gala 2025 Theme

This year's gala had a bold and rich theme with a nod to black history and culture. The costume museum's theme was Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and the dress code for the Met Gala was “Tailored for You.” Along with that the co-chairs this year were A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton and Pharrell Williams.

As for the MET gala theme, 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style explores the importance of style to the formation of Black identities in the Atlantic diaspora, particularly in the United States and Europe,' the Met Museum writes.

Here is a run down of all the scintillating looks that were spotted throughout the night, from Hailey's corseted look to Megan Thee Stallion Decked out in a floor length fur coat.


Best dressed at the Met Gala 2025 after party

Hailey Bieber

Though Hailey went for a more sleek and minimalistic look for the actual MET gala, Rhode CEO definitely turned it up for the after party. Bieber was wearing a corseted and structured figure hugging mini dress in a shade of champagne along with a micro studded bag.

Zendaya

Just like Hailey Bieber, Zendaya was also a picture of minimalistic chic in her all white ensemble, however the actress took an edgy and dramatic turn for the festivities after. During the after party, Miss Z was studded in a sequined dark red maxi dress with matching fur sleeves and dark red nails, pulling it all together.

Kim Kardashian

Kim continued with her all black streak and was spotted in another body hugging number. The dress was a full sleeve low plunging midi dress with lacing details all over. The dress was an amalgamation of different materials and textures, including patterned leather and sheer fabric.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

Priyanka and Nick were each others dates to the gala as always and they did it in style, as always. Priyanka was wearing a mini flapper style dress made with glass droplets and studs and a matching bag while the Jonas brother was all decked out in a tan pinstripe suit and a silver chain around his neck.

Kendall Jenner

The Jenner sister was spotted in a modest all black ensemble with a 60s essence to it. Kendall was wearing a black full sleeve dress with a Sabrina neckline. She completed the look with a plain black saucer hat. For the main MET gala, she opted for a more office siren-esque look.

Rihanna's after party look was all about showcasing her new baby bump. Following the common theme of all black for the night the singer was dressed in a textured ensemble comprising of a blazer, maxi skirt with side ties and a fitted ruffled top. The was finished with ribbons and a lace durag.

Jenna Ortega

Jenna Ortega followed her bestie Sabrina Carpenter for her after party look wearing a cropped blazer with pointed shoulders and a buttoned bodysuit similar to the silhouette the pop star wore to the gala. She paired the look with stockings, a gold rose on the lapel, and a pocket watch pinned to her side. Her glam was just as emasculate with edgy brown eye shadow and sleek coiled hair.

Alex Consani and Paloma Elsesser

Both models, who one model of the year one after another proved exactly why they deserve the title. Alex was glamed up in a mini gold shimmer dress with a gold choker showcasing her fun party girl spirit, while Paloma went with a more subtle approach with a beige coord set and stockings.

Vittoria Ceretti

Super model Vittoria Ceretti was spotted in a chic yet impactful black strapless mini dress made up of fringe, tulle, braids and more textures, adding character to the simple silhouette.

Halle Bailey

Halle Bailey looked like an absolute doll in a peplum style mini dress with a sweetheart neckline. The bodice of the dress was made of silver sequins while the rest of the design was a simple off white shiny fabric. The look was completed with a long rapunzel like black braid.

Charli XCX was giving all kinds of 90s swag with a black maxi skirt, striped shirt, and a printed beige blazer, all put together in a messy, haphazard manner. Very Charli of her. She added a newsboy hat and her signature black shades to finish the look.

Janelle Monae

Janelle wore a more casual understated version of her custom Thom Browne MET Gala outfit. Monae dressed down the look with a topless underbust top, mini skirt and black and white blazer. She kept the original tie, bag, hat, and watch style monacle.

BLACKPINK's Rose was embodying a business casual spirit with her outfit. The idol had a formal top with a black cropped blazer and a fun bottom with a high low ruffled skirt. She also added a sheer top under the blazer.

Sabrina Carpenter flaunted a very New York in 90s look with an oversized bright yellow coat, and a matching Louis Vuitton bag. Under the coat, she donned black trousers, a black belt with the logo, black skinny tie, and a crips white shirt. She switched out her bombshell blowout for a messy perm.

Hunter Schafer

Hunter looked absolutely ethereal in a fairy esque ensemble comprised of a corseted off shoulder mini dress similar to Hailey's dress with feathery fur like ruffles coming out the sides. The look was completed with a white shoulder bag and a ribboned bun.

Julia Fox showed exactly why she is considered a fashion icon. The model had the perfect balance of structure and simplicity with denim jorts and a latex top in the same shade. The top was adorned with white 3D flowers. To compliment the look she carried a denim Teflar bag with white detailing and styled her hair in a sleek bun.

Doja Cat

"Florals for spring? Groundbreaking," and that's exactly what Doja Cat served at the gala after-party. Going with a completely different vibe from her actual MET Gala, the singer was dressed in an all floral blazer and dress with orange and green flowers. Along with that, the singer was sporting her natural short curls and blue and green jewels.

A$AP Rocky

Not only was Rocky one of the co-chairs this year at the MET gala, he also brought his A game with all black outfit, matching his partner Rihanna. The rapper was wearing an all black tailored suit with a crisp white shirt. He added silver adornments like rings, bracelet, earrings and a dragonfly brooch, along with black sunglasses and an umbrella and colorful pins. His hair was styled in curling braids, making a visually appealing pattern.

Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion was the epitome of glam off and on the MET Gala carpet. For the actual gala she wore a white oversized fur coat with a silver studded maxi dress. However for the after-party she did a complete 180, and dressed in a shiny black fur coat with a black and silver sequined dress with a similar neckline. The singer finished the look with a long bob and finger curl and studded earrings.

Keke Plamer was a bundle of joy throughout the MET gala and she brought the same energy to the festivities after. The actress was wearing a simple yet chic outfit with a silver sequin mini skirt and a black puff sleeve micro top. She added a pop of colour with a magenta lipstick and her long ginger hair.

Alton continued with his all silver theme with a silver pin stripe suit. He paired the suit with a shimmery shirt and burgundy tie. The model kept the same accessories as his MET gala look comprising of a silver studded eye patch and a black cowboy hat and silver rings.

Jennie

Jennie showed why she is the ultimate Chanel girl with a black buttoned top and lace detailing. She paired the top with Chanel stockings and sheer tiered mini skirt. The look was completed with a black pillbox hat adding an oomph factor. The BLACKPINK singer also wore Chanel to the MET gala.

The stars were definitely aligned with all of these looks, as celebrities captured the essence of the MET gala theme off and on the carpet.
