1000-Lb. Sisters Season 7 Episode 8 Recap - Tammy undergoes surgery
Tammy had extra skin on her neck from her fat burning away, along with arms that she called the "bat wings." The episode started off with Amanda, her elder sister, and Chris, her father, waiting in the lobby for her surgery to be over.
As Amanda was growing restless, the doctor came out and announced that the procedure was done and Tammy was good to go. However, the surgery was delayed because they had lost a pin and had to find it, which took time. He revealed that they have removed 10.5 pounds of skin from Tammy's body.
The family was then allowed to meet her, where she was given a mirror. Chris had a proud father moment, and he shared in his confessional that Tammy has worked very hard to shed all the weight and now deserves to feel confident in her body.
With the skin removal surgery, she will now be able to move freely and look even better than ever.
Tammy, who saw herself in the mirror for the first time after the surgery, was happy as well. In her first confessional after the procedure, as she was healing, the 1000-Lb. Sisters star said,
"It feels so weird. I don't have my hanging balls*ck on my face. My bat wings are gone, too. And now, there's nothing there but my lap now. It's gonna take a little while for me to get used to seeing myself like this.
1000-Lb. Sisters Season 7 Episode 8 Recap - Amy is still trying to find a wedding venue
In other news on 1000-Lb. Sisters, Amy, who has been trying to lock down a venue for her wedding with Brian, is having trouble getting a perfect haunted place.
She had earlier tried a haunted house, but the idea was rejected by Tammy and everyone else in the family. Any is currently planning to have a wedding on 31st October, Halloween.
In this 1000-Lb. Sisters episode, she talks to a planner who helps with wedding venues. To say that the planners were shocked at the request would be an understatement.
On the ride back home, Tammy expresses how happy she is that people understood her creative idea instead of shutting her down like her family does. Brian says that it feels like walking on eggshells around them.
