Episode 6 of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty is titled "Course N° 6 Black Sesame Macaron" and the official synopsis reads:
"When the Ming envoy demands a cooking contest, Ji-young rises to the challenge to represent Joseon — and win what Yi Heon has promised her."
The episode opens with King Lee-heon and Ji-young at the greenhouse, after Ji-young fell on him. The King later accompanied her to the market in disguise, and Ji-young was happy to explore the place.
In a heartfelt moment, Ji-young bought flowers for the King, while he gifted her the charms she desired. Interestingly, King Lee-heon gave Ji-young the very charm that was tied to her Mangunrok book, which has vanished.
And since the King has begun to write a new Mangunrok, the charm will be tied to it. By the end of episode 6, the Ming envoys challenge the Joseon chefs, leading King Lee-heon to accept the kitchen battle.
Many things, including Joseon's entire Ginseng and many women's lives, are at stake in this cooking battle.
