Beauty in Black returned with a new season full of intense drama, which also involved attempted killings of several characters. One of whom is Angel (Xavier Small). Angel was attacked at a bus stop.
However, Angel survived the storm of bullets by playing dead in front of his attackers. He then hid himself in none other than Horace’s home. While Angel might have miraculously survived the attack, there were several characters in Part 1 of Season 2 whose fate is still hanging by a thread.

Does Angel die in Beauty in Black Season 2? Details explored
In the last episode of Part 1 of Beauty in Black Season 2, Angel was seen alive and unharmed. Horace, unknowingly, agrees to let Angel be killed. This results in the character being attacked at a bus stop when a barrage of gunfire is directed at him. It looked like they did not want to leave any chance of survival for the man.
Later, they find him dead and think that they have completed their task. However, it is later revealed that Angel was only playing dead to fool his killers. He was not even injured during the attack, but he knew that his life would be in danger if the killers learn that he survived.
Therefore, he decides to hide in Horace’s home using the black card that the latter left behind before going to Italy for his cancer treatment. Although this does not mean the danger has passed, as in Part 2 of the series, we will get to see whether Angel survives his enemies' further attempts to harm him.

Besides Angel, there are several other characters who find themselves in a deeper mess in Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 1. Kimmie shows her confident and resourceful side as the new COO of Bellarie Beauty while also threatening the position of several members of the family, which includes Roy.
She also confronts the family for harming the company’s reputation and meets with the plaintiffs and the lawyer who has sued their company to find a solution to the issue. However, she then encounters a dangerous obstacle. Rain accidentally hurts Glen, who is revealed to be Jules’s son.
Officer Alex assures Kimmie he will handle the problem, as Glen has not died yet; this will surely be a major problem for Kimmie and her friends. Furthermore, Horace’s son, Charles, has been tricked by Dustin, who plans to rob the rich boy. However, as three masked men attack Charles, he fights them and shoots them down.
The issue becomes messier when he tries to dispose of the body by cutting it off, and is discovered by Varney. But before they could talk and find a solution to the problem at hand, they were attacked again by masked men, who claimed to be police.
Other than Angel, Kimmie and her friends, Charles and Varney’s fate is also left in a cliffhanger, which most probably would be solved in Part 2 of Beauty in Black Season 2.
