It seems that Nobody Wants This Season 2's creator, Erin Foster, has bagged another lucrative deal. Deadline published an exclusive report on the afternoon of October 27, 2025, stating that Foster is creating another comedy series, this time for Hulu. Also involved in the yet-to-be-titled project as the writer is Adam Countee, who has worked in acclaimed projects like Silicon Valley and Severance.

It seems that the upcoming Hulu series will be another rom-com that Foster specializes in, given her success with the beloved Netflix rom-com. In addition to co-writing the Hulu project, the Nobody Wants This Season 2 creator is also executive producing it.

What do we know about the Nobody Wants This Season 2 creator's new Hulu project?

According to Deadline's sources, the Hulu show was described as an epic ensemble rom-com. The sweeping series supposedly is about a group of singles and couples who attend a lavish, extravagant destination wedding. Over the long weekend, the lives of these characters collide and intersect, delivering drama and comedy.

The writers involved in the series have a lot of people excited. Erin Foster, one of the creators of Netflix's Nobody Wants This Season 2, is writing Hulu's destination wedding rom-com with Adam Countee, who had previously served as the executive producer of shows like Severance and Silicon Valley.

Apart from the writers and the description, we don't know anything about the Hulu series. The show, as of now, remains uncast.

Who is Erin Foster? Netflix's Nobody Wants This creator's career explained:

Erin began her career as an actor who has appeared in popular shows, including Castle, as a guest star. However, it was in 2012 that Foster transitioned her career from that of an actor and socialite to a writer, as she was one of the staff writers for The New Normal. Then, over the years, she and her sister Sara started a podcast titled The World's First Podcast with Erin & Sara Foster.

Erin and Sara's careers reached new heights when they teamed up to create Nobody Wants This, which streamed on Netflix in 2024. The rom-com was inspired by Erin's own life experience with her husband, Simon Tikhman, who is a Jewish man, Noah Roklov, in the series, and she was an agnostic, like Kristen Bell's Joanne. The show was an instant success, prompting Netflix to greenlight Nobody Wants This Season 2 in October 2024.

Who is in the cast and crew of Nobody Wants This?

The rom-com follows the most unusual couple: A rabbi, Noah Roklov, and an agnostic podcaster, Joanne. The couple navigates their differences while dealing with their respective families. Here are the actors who are a part of the show's main cast:

  • Kristen Bell: Joanne
  • Adam Brody: Rabbi Noah Roklov
  • Timothy Simons: Noah's older brother, Sasha Roklov
  • Jackie Tohn: Sasha's wife, Esther
  • Justine Lupe: Joanne's younger sister and podcast co-host, Morgan
"Nobody Wants This centers on the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman, Joanne (Golden Globe nominee Kristen Bell), and an unconventional rabbi, Noah (SAG nominee Adam Brody). From the moment they meet at a friend’s dinner party, both can tell there’s something between them. But also potentially between them are their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families — including her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe) and his brother Sasha (Timothy Simons)."

As you wait for the Hulu rom-com, catch Nobody Wants This Season 2, which is streaming in its entirety on Netflix.
