The first episode of Head Over Heels introduces Park Seong-ah, a high school student who secretly works as a shaman. While she tries to live a normal student life, she’s also responsible for handling spirits and visions of the future. Her life is already complicated, but everything changes when a strange and incredibly handsome boy arrives.

Seong-ah meets Bae Gyeon-woo, a new transfer student who had previously visited her shaman self with his grandmother. The moment she sees him at school, she has a frightening vision that he’s destined to die. She realizes he’s the boy from an earlier prophecy about her future love, marked by tragedy.

Despite the danger, Seong-ah grows emotionally attached and decides she won’t let fate win. Bae Gyeon-woo isn't just a client to her, but also her crush. Seong-ah even got amulets to protect him and used them at the school..

The episode also introduced Seong-ah's best friend, Pyo Ji-ho, who seems to like her. But Seong-ah has developed a strong crush on Gyeon-woo, and now her quest to save him has finally begun.

Overall, the episode mixes school drama with creepy ghost encounters, like a scary scene in the boys' bathroom. But Seong-ah’s kind-hearted approach to spirits gives the show depth. With humor, heart, and supernatural twists, Head Over Heels' premiere sets up a unique teen love story.
