Meg and Dejon’s relationship on Love Island UK was anything but uneventful, and after their late-season exit, viewers are asking the big question: are they still together? The pair coupled up on the very first day of Love Island UK Season 12 and remained in a couple until they were dumped from the villa just one day before the final.

Despite facing multiple setbacks, from bombshell interruptions to arguments about loyalty and public perception, they left the villa as an official couple. Since their exit, both Meg and Dejon have confirmed they are continuing their relationship outside the show.

“We are actually going to stay together! Spending time together and introducing one another to family and friends,” Meg said.

Dejon added that he hopes to move in with Meg, stating, “I can’t imagine not living with her.” Here's a complete timeline of their journey, both in and out of the villa.

Inside Meg and Dejon’s Love Island UK relationship

Meg and Dejon met and coupled up on Day 1 of Love Island UK. Meg picked Dejon based on his profile alone, although she admitted her initial attraction was at "50 percent."

Soon after, Malisha entered and took Dejon on a date, leading to the now-notorious Tape Nightclub argument. Meg even eavesdropped on the terrace. Despite the tension, Dejon chose to stay with Meg, and Malisha was sent home.

Dejon's connection with Caprice was the next challenge. They flirted during the villa sleepover and even kissed during a game. However, Dejon reaffirmed his bond with Meg and returned to the main villa to be with her.

Tensions rose again when Dejon kissed Yasmin during a game and discussed intimacy, causing issues with Meg. His date with Billykiss further tested their relationship, yet they stayed together and entered Casa Amor as a couple.

Casa Amor created fresh conflict in July, when Dejon kissed Andrada during a game and told her he hoped she would return to the villa. Meanwhile, Meg shared a bed with Martin and confided in Helena and Emily about her doubts.

When they both returned single, Andrada revealed her connection with Dejon, prompting Meg to confront him, saying, “My name is Meg, not Mug.” Days later, Dejon made their relationship exclusive.

However, movie night brought new drama. Villa footage showed Dejon’s flirtations, upsetting Meg. When she confronted him, he said he could take back the exclusiveness. They reconciled and were sent on their first date, returning as boyfriend and girlfriend.

Shakira and Toni questioned the timing. During the family and friends visit, Meg’s sister said they hadn’t seen Dejon’s good side on screen, though Meg insisted he “does everything for her.” Dejon later said he was in love with Meg.

As the season neared its end, Dejon said he’d choose Yasmin if not paired with Meg during a challenge, which led to a heated exchange. Meg asked if he was trying to look good for the cameras. Dejon later told Blu he wasn’t shocked to be dumped, adding,

“I knew people might not like that… but I know what we have is real and in real relationships you have disagreements.”

Former Islanders voted Meg and Dejon the most incompatible couple, citing frequent arguments. Meg defended the relationship, insisting they were happy. Andrada pointed to issues from their final date and told Meg, “I genuinely felt bad for you.” After leaving Love Island UK, Dejon reiterated his belief in their bond:

“I’m still grateful for our experience and I wouldn’t have changed it.”

The couple quickly posted a joint Instagram photo, writing,

“To growth, love, and our next chapter. Thank you all for supporting our journey, it doesn’t go unnoticed.”
