Peacemaker Season 2 treated fans with this subtle Batman reference

Peacemaker Season 2 premiered on August 21, 2025, and brought back John Cena’s Christopher Smith and his friends, after the events of Season 1.

Peacemaker has been one of the popular shows of James Gunn’s DCU. The new season did not just bring back Peacemaker, but also depicted several easter eggs and surprising cameos.

From the appearance of Justice Gang, to referencing Batman characters and villains like Kite Man, Peacemaker Season 2 introduced another character from Gotham City in the premiere episode, the White Rabbit, played by Brey Noelle. While the character only appeared for a short moment, it is speculated whether the canonical character will appear in the series or will be a part of the Batman films.

Peacemaker Season 2: Who is White Rabbit?

In the premiere episode of Peacemaker, among the many easter eggs of numerous canonical DC characters, we also get a glimpse of White Rabbit, a minor but popular character and villain from Gotham City.

After being disappointed by not being considered as a hero even after saving he world from the events shown in Season 1, Smith/Peacemaker thinks of joining the Justice Gang and applies for it. While he goes to the warehouse for his interview with the Justice Gang and Maxwell Lord, he notices someone.

We then see White Rabbit, in her white costume, donning the bunny ears, leaving the warehouse in tears after being rejected by the superhero gang. The Peacemaker Season 2 episode 1 only shows a brief moment, and is her first official introduction on the screen.

As per the DC comics, White Rabbit is the alter ego of Jaina Hudson, a Gotham socialite who can create another clone of herself with both of them having different personalities. She is also part of the Wonderland Gang of the Mad Hatter. A daughter of a diplomat and a former Bollywood actress, Jaina is also revealed to have had a brief relationship with Bruce Wayne.

Peacemaker Season 2: Will White Rabbit make another appearance in the show? Speculations explored

While it looks like White Rabbit only had a brief cameo in Peacemaker Season 2, where she doesn’t even speak a line, it is not yet clear if she will appear more in the series. Just like numerous other references, Noelle’s character might be just a one-time thing in Season 2 of the series.

However, this brief cameo has opened new doors for several DC characters that have not appeared before, and might become a greater part of the other DCU projects under James Gunn.

Aside from White Rabbit and Justice Gang, Peacemaker Season 2 also referenced Kyphotic Alien, Imps, Rainbow Creature, and Sasha Bordeaux, among several other easter eggs.
