Ahead of the Super Mega Cakes Season 1 finale, Food Network shared a video clip featuring one of the judges, Amaury Guichon. He opened up about a few essential matters. It included his biggest baking/ chocolate disaster, and more.

When he was asked his advice on whether someone was to follow in his footsteps, what would be his "best piece of advice." Responding to the question, Super Mega Cakes judge Amaury Guichon shared that it was an easy question.

For those who were looking to make their way into the world of baking and being a pastry chef, they would be willing to "sacrifice" everything. The judges added that it was something that he has been doing and is still doing the same.

"That's an easy one. If you ever want to follow in my footsteps, the only word I can give you is be willing to sacrifice everything. What I've done and still do today is working very hard," said Amaury Guichon.

Super Mega Cakes fans are eagerly waiting for the show's finale. The show features Amaury Guichon as one of the judges, who recently reflected on one of the "disasters" he had been through. He was referring to the baking/ chocolate disaster.

The question that Amaury faced was:

"What was the biggest baking/ chocolate disaster you've experienced?

Responding to that, he said, it was in one of his classes in Romania. It was a chocolate masterclass. During the 3D process, they were building a chocolate phoenix. It had 1,500 chocolate feathers. Each of those chocolate feathers was individually crafted and glued together one by one.

Later, when he was spraying on that, while he was surrounded by many students, it collapsed.

"I taught once in Romania a chocolate masterclass. It was a 3D process. And as I was building a chocolate phoenix, including 1,500 chocolate feathers crafted one by one and glued on one by one, I was spraying in front of a full room of students, and everything collapsed," said Amaury Guichon.

Further, after witnessing such a disaster in front of the students, he had to keep a "gray face" and continued with the class. He then helped the students to complete the task.

For the fans waiting for the Super Mega Cakes Season 1 finale, it will feature cake artists including April Julian, Andrew Fuller, and Dill Barlow. Judges panel will feature Sherry Yard, Amaury Guichon, and Jack Osbourne.

Food Network will air Super Mega Cakes Season 1 finale on July 21, 2025.
