The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2 Episode 6: A brief rundown
The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2, Episode 6, titled, Bridge Partners Are Hard to Come by These Days, was quite intense and filled with nail-biting moments. With the Dama dead, there's an unusual power vacuum, which led to an intense face-off between the Croat and Negan. While Negan believed that the Croat let the Dama die, the Croat accused Negan of starting the fight by killing the Dama's rat. The Croat brutally hit Negan with his Lucille. Negan wasted no time and starts hitting the Croat in front of the soldiers in the church. Negan then instructs the Croat to leave and never return. Negan then freed Benjamin Pierce from the prison cell, and he reflected on his past sins.
On the other hand, Bruegel seemed to give shelter to Maggie, Ginny, Hershel, and Perlie after the chaotic walker attack. While Bruegel asked Perlie and Maggie to join his team against the Croat and the Dama, Maggie seemed quite reluctant as she did not trust Bruegel. Hershel tried to pour the walker's blood into the water supply to contaminate it, but Maggie stopped him in the act. However, soon the mother and son were attacked by a one-eyed grizzly bear. Maggie tried to lure the bear into the walker's pit, but she failed. Hershel came to the rescue and used his knife-throwing skills to injure the bear and save his mother. However, before the mother and son could reunite, Hershel left the scene to join the Dama's forces.
When Maggie was searching for Hershel, she met Negan, who seemed quite confused about whether to escape with his family or stay behind in Manhattan. Maggie warned Hershel of Bruegel's cruel intentions while Negan asked her to search in the theatre for Hershel. Negan finally decided to send his family back to Tennessee while he stayed behind in Manhattan.
At the front of the church, Negan met Ginny, who raised a gun at him before she succumbed to the infection. This left Negan shattered as he failed to protect the ones he cared for. Meanwhile, Bruegel told Perlie that he had kept Walker Navarez in his custody, and thus he is aware of all the plans and secrets of the New Babylon Federation and its members.
