Was Issac aware of Pugsley’s ability from the very beginning in Wednesday Season 2? Details explored

One of the best storylines of Wednesday Season 2 was learning more about Slurp’s identity as the series progressed. From being the boy with a clockwork heart, buried near the Skull tree, to being Tyler’s Uncle, Isaac, and a science genius, many facets of Slurp/Isaac’s identity were revealed.

One of those revelations was his past that connected him to the Addams family. Turns out he was Gomez’s roommate, who tried to use the former’s power to help her sister, Francoise, get rid of her Hyde side. However, his plan failed, and he was killed. He was then resurrected by Pugsley with his electric powers, which Isaac later tries to use to save Francoise.

While it is not explicitly revealed if Isaac was aware of Pugsley’s power, it is implied that he remembers Pugsley using his powers to jumpstart his heart and control him when he was a zombie.

Wednesday Season 2: Slurp becomes Isaac Night

In Wednesday Season 2 Part 1, Ajax shares the story of the boy buried near the Skull tree. Pugsley, ready for an adventure, goes looking for the buried boy and finds Slurp, whose rotting body is reanimated after Pugsley jumstarts his clockwork heart with his electric powers.

At the end of Part 1, we see that Slurp, after eating the brains of numerous people across Jericho, begins to regain his human body. In Part 2, Slurp is revealed to actually be Isaac Night, a DaVinci (an outcast with telekinetic powers). The science genius is also the brother of Francoise, Tyler’s mother, and the other Hyde in the series.

As Francoise was dying due to not having a master, Isaac, now reunited with her sister, takes her to Wollow Hill to use the LOIS to make her a normal human. However, Enid and Wednesday sabotage their plan when they come to rescue Agnes.

This results in Isaac kidnapping Pugsley to take his father’s place and help him in curing his sister. While Isaac does not reveal how he learned about Pugsley’s electric powers, it is assumed that, since he remembers the younger Addams being his friend, he might also have a recollection of his memories where he saw Pugsley using his powers.

Wednesday Season 2: Isaac kidnaps Pugsley

In the finale of Wednesday Season 2, Morticia finally reveals that her powers killed Isaac all those years ago. She found out about Isaac using Gomez’s electric powers to make his sister a normal human. His attempt would have killed Gomez, due to which Morticia destroyed his machine and saved Gomez, who had lost his powers.

In the present, Isaac kidnaps Pugsley to use his electrical powers to save his sister and also take revenge on the Addams family for what they did years ago. However, his plan is foiled again with Morticia and Wednesday’s arrival.
