It is well known that Gen V Season 2 will have a panel at the SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) 2025 on Friday, July 25, 2025. Many believe that we will get a new trailer for the upcoming second season, considering a new poster was released on July 22, 2025. If the makers are planning to release a new trailer for the upcoming second season of Gen V, then SDCC is the best place to release it.
However, it should be noted that as of now, it has not been confirmed whether a new trailer will be released this Friday or not. But given several sci-fi and superhero shows releasing their trailers at SDCC, chances are high that we may get a Gen V Season 2 trailer this weekend.
What is the time of the Gen V Season 2 panel?
As mentioned before, the Gen V Season 2 panel at SDCC will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025. The hour-long panel is scheduled on Friday between 03:45 PM and 04:45 PM, PT. Thus, we may get the trailer somewhere in those scheduled 60 minutes. Many believe that the trailer shown in the panel will also be made available online.

Who stars in Gen V's second season?
The upcoming second season includes these actors in its cast:
- Jaz Sinclair as Marie Moreau
- Lizze Broadway as Emma Meyer/Little Cricket
- Derek Luh and London Thor as Jordan Li
- Asa Germann as Samuel "Sam" Riordan
- Maddie Phillips as Cate Dunlap
- Sean Patrick Thomas as Andre Anderson's father, Polarity
- Valorie Curry as Misty Tucker Gray/Firecracker
- Chace Crawford as Kevin Moskowitz/The Deep
It seems that the upcoming season will see the return of almost all of the actors from the first season, except for Chance Perdomo's Andre Anderson. 27-year-old Perdomo tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident in March 2024. It was confirmed that Andre would not be recast to honor the late actor. Instead:
It seems that Andre's mysterious absence will be addressed in Gen V Season 2
The Gen V Season 1 concluded with Marie, Emma, Andre, and Jordan being restrained in a mysterious facility. Luke's brother Sam and Cate had framed the four for the mess they caused, and they were declared the heroes. But as the teaser for the second season hints, Andre's father, Polarity, is searching for him. But it will probably be revealed that Andre might have died in custody.
Other than answering Andre's mystery, the upcoming season will also set up the events for The Boys Season 5.
"In Season Two, school is back in session. As the rest of America adjusts to Homelander's iron fist, back at Godolkin University, the mysterious new Dean preaches a curriculum that promises to make students more powerful than ever. Cate and Sam are celebrated heroes, while Marie, Jordan, and Emma reluctantly return to college, burdened by months of trauma and loss. But parties and classes are hard to care about with war brewing between Humans and Supes, both on and off campus. The gang learns of a secret program that goes back to the founding of Godolkin University that may have larger implications than they realize. And, somehow, Marie is a part of it."
