The Originals: Chase Coleman played Oliver

Chase Coleman’s character first appeared in Episode 13 of The Originals Season 1. He is part of the cursed Crescent Wolf Pack, who are trapped in their wolf form and can only transform to their human form on a full moon night.
In his first appearance, he attempts to kill Rebekah, aligning with the French Quarter Coven of Witches. Later, it is revealed that Oliver and the leader of his pack, Jackson, are a part of Klaus’s plan and want to take over New Orleans. The conflict between the different factions had been brewing since the arrival of the Originals, and with the news of the birth of Hope, Klaus, a hybrid, and Hayley, a werewolf’s daughter.
While Hayley tried to make them understand that their deal with Klaus was not going to be helpful in any way, she was not able to convince the duo. Moreover, Coleman’s Oliver had a solo plan of his own as he, to convince the werewolves to support him, plots a deadly attack on them with wolfsbane, and blames the vampires for it.
Due to his greed for power, he hurts his own pack in several attacks which resulting in the deaths and injuries to many werewolves.
The Originals: Oliver’s significant change in character and death
After being threatened by Marcel at the end of The Originals Season 1, and later by Klaus and Hayley in Season 2, Chase Coleman’s Oliver became a spy for the Mikaelson siblings and brought information on what their mother, Esther, and Finn were up to.
His being a spy played a significant role when they saved a group of untriggered werewolf teenagers, whom Finn and Esther were planning to instill in their army by triggering their werewolf side. With Hayley and Elijah’s help, they rescue the teenagers, but he gets captured by Finn.
Later, he is saved by Hayley and Ansel before Finn tries to execute him. However, he still dies in Episode 6 of The Originals Season 2. Hayley realises that he was killed by how the witches killed their own when they betrayed The Ancestors, by casting a hex that would lead the victim to bleed to death.
He dies in his best friend, Jackson’s, arms, who later gives him a Norse funeral.
Aside from The Originals, Chase Coleman also appeared in Gossip Girl, Boardwalk Empire, and The Good Wife, among others.
