Gigi Jones first shows up in Dexter: Resurrection Episode 7, titled Course Correction. She arrives at Collings College of Criminology, where she meets Harrison Morgan, who has come to the campus to check it out after being advised by Elsa Rivera.

While Harrison waits for his dad Dexter, Gigi walks up to him and makes a joke about him actually reading the school brochure. She notices he looks a little lost and tries to make him laugh. Meanwhile, Harrison sees a cast on her arm, after which Gigi reveals that she is suffering from nerve damage.

As they have a conversation, the two are able to click instantly. Gigi later reveals that she is the student tour guide. When a guest lecture is organized about the New York Ripper, Gigi is the one who points Dexter to where Harrison is sitting.

After the class, she hands Harrison application forms, and the two continue to flirt. Even Dexter notices the chemistry and steps aside to let them talk. Gigi then finally gives Harrison her number, which marks the beginning of their dating phase.

The couple’s story continues in the later episodes of Dexter: Resurrection. When Harrison goes back to campus to officially apply to Collings College of Criminology, he meets Gigi again. The two also go dancing at a rooftop party that night.

As they begin to trust each other, Gigi discloses more personal details and tells Harrison that she dreamed of becoming a detective, but her dream was shattered after a motorcycle crash left her with permanent nerve damage.

Harrison comforts her by saying that his dad is a blood spatter analyst who catches criminals without being a cop. This helps Gigi understand that she still has a future in criminology despite her condition.

After the party, the two end up sleeping together. The next morning, they joke around again. In Episode 10, Harrison is once again seen getting intimate with Gigi when Dexter calls him while being stuck in a vault.
