What happened on The Young and the Restless

This week on The Young and the Restless, Claire turned down Kyle’s suggestion that they move into the Abbott mansion until they found a place of their own. Michael informed Victor that it appeared one of their moles at Jabot had turned on them. Victor refused to reveal his future plans because he didn’t trust Michael, who turned to Jack to try to stop the impending war between the men. Lauren begged Michael to stop working for Victor, but he stood by his loyalty to his boss. Lauren and Diane blasted Michael for putting Victor ahead of his friends. When Phyllis remained fixated on helping Daniel, Billy fired her from Abbott Communications. Billy refused Daniel’s request to give Phyllis another chance. Phyllis appealed to Tessa to help her save her son, but she became irate when Tessa insisted that Daniel had to find his own path. Audra encouraged Sally to leave Marchetti to work with Billy. Victor refused to fund Audra’s new company until she made inroads with Kyle. Claire warned Kyle that Victor and Audra had resumed doing business together. After seeking advice from Lauren, Chelsea told Summer and Sally that she was considering leaving Marchetti for another opportunity and recommended Sally as her replacement. Sally revealed that she was also contemplating leaving to work with Billy. Summer was floored but wished both women well. Summer shared heartfelt goodbyes with Nick, Phyllis, and Harrison before heading to Italy to look for replacement hires. Kyle gently broke the news to Summer that he and Claire had plans to move in together. Kyle agreed to wait to tell Harrison about the move until Summer got back. Adam and Chelsea celebrated her acceptance of his job offer, while Sally and Billy looked forward to working together. Mariah returned from a business trip and distanced herself from Tessa. Mariah confided to Sharon that she’d made a horrible, drunken mistake that Tessa could never know about. Cole developed a terrible cough that continued to worsen. Lily and Holden clashed when she unsuccessfully tried to dig for information about his past with Audra. Diane was dismayed when Billy admitted the Abbott mansion no longer felt like home.
