This week on The Young and the Restless, Phyllis suggested that she and Daniel build their own empire together. Daniel agreed to consider it if Phyllis found an idea that inspired both of them. Phyllis eavesdropped on Billy telling Sally about his plan to pit Victor and Dumas against one another. Phyllis swiped Billy’s phone and obtained Dumas’ contact information. Phyllis attempted to strike a deal with Victor by claiming she had intel on Dumas, but he turned her down flat. Phyllis attempted to schedule a meeting with Dumas but couldn’t get past his assistant. Billy refused to give in to Victor’s blackmail. Adam balked at Victor’s order to release a smear campaign against Billy. Phyllis turned down Nick’s offer of financial help to get her new business started. Sharon was clearly disturbed when she interrupted a close moment between Nick and Phyllis. Phyllis later witnessed Nick angrily confronting Billy about firing her. Damian accepted Lily’s offer to work for Winters as a double agent to get information from Dumas. Lily, Devon, and Nate separately arrived at Society in response to an invitation to a meeting with Dumas. Amanda Sinclair showed up and announced that she was there to represent Dumas. Amanda claimed that Dumas respected the Winters clan and had no plans to take over their family company, but he did have an interest in Chancellor. Phyllis was stunned when Amanda demanded to know why Phyllis had attempted to contact Dumas. Amy returned to Genoa City, optimistic about her cancer treatment. Chelsea continued to have doubts about working for Newman Media. Tessa begged Mariah to open up to her, but Mariah tearfully ran off. Daniel comforted Tessa. Claire slowed down her plans to move in with Kyle to avoid making things worse with Victor. Kyle objected to caving in to Victor’s demands, but he assured Claire he would do anything for her. Claire planned to throw a party in the hope of winning Victor’s approval of her relationship with Kyle. Audra bragged to Kyle about her plans for a secret product for Vibrante. Holden sensed sexual tension between Audra and Kyle. Audra warned Holden to stay away from her. Kyle considered getting close to Audra to find out more about Jabot’s potential competition.
